If you’re a fan of, familiar with or just want to try Palestinian/Mediterranean food – this place is about as good as it gets. I will tell you right now that as far as taste and presentation goes, their food is spot-on. The gem was their Turkish coffee. I couldn’t place the spice wich we were humbly informed is a guarded secret. The owner, Talal was professional and kind. I did enjoy the splash of culture found in the decor. Very clean and delicious!

Everything was so so yummy! You can’t go wrong ordering anything they have. The meat is so tender and seasoned perfectly. The best appetizer in my opinion is the hummus. Classic and best one I’ve ever had. Great job to the chefs in the back!

We had an amazing experience here! Everything was perfect; the food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the prices were completely fair. Talal was also a great server. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone even slightly curious about Arab cuisine. I got the mixed platter and I practically cleaned the entire plate. Also recommend the labneh to start and the lemon mint drink to complement the food!

So happy we stopped into Al Aqsa in Boonton for a late lunch. Delicious Mediterranean food with a Palestinian flair. Yummy. Their lemon mint drink is a deliciously cold lemonade with mint, just perfect on a hot day or really any day. We thoroughly enjoyed their Labneh, Babaganoush and Avocado Salad. And the Arayeh with meat and cheese was fun middle eastern version of a quesadilla.

We’ve been here for lunch last week and we loved all the food and drinks that we’ve ordered. We tried chicken and beef kebabs, small appetizer and soft drinks, really good Arabic coffee that was server in beautiful cups and also tried couple of traditional desserts, even got few to go to share with our friend. It was nice and quiet, servers very attentive and polite. we’ll be coming back for more delicious food !
