We gave this place a try and we did not regret it. All the other sushi restaurants in Williamsburgs are either hard to reserve, very expensive, require $50-75 no show fee deposit or closed on Mondays. We reserved for 7:30pm on a Monday night and upon arriving there were plenty of seats. The host asked us if we would like to sit in the back outdoor area and we said yes. It is beautifully decorated in the back, with lights, a mural, but you will be hearing the zapping of mosquitos and getting a few bites! We ordered a tray of sushi to share, some speciality rolls, an udon dish, gyu-don rice dish, and purple yam fried and karage. The appetizers came promptly and they were so good, the chicken was hot and fresh and came with sauce and a dipping salt. The purple yam fries were very interesting and I think it came with a matcha sauce. These two appetizers are really good and a must try. The sushi came and it was the typical rolls, not the best sushi quality but that is okay because it was still good and presentable, and this isn’t a $$$$ type of restaurant. The udon was good and so was the gyu-don beef over rice. We also ordered beers and cocktails which were good. Our party enjoyed our time here, it was quiet, soft, ambient, the food was good, and it is a great place to catch up with friends over a meal.

As soon as I entered I was greeted with a smile. I came in for lunch with my friends and we sat down in their back yard area. Very calm atmosphere with new renovations. We made sure to try their new refreshing drinks at their new bar. Very affordable prices in you are staying to eat out but at the same time save some money . 😛

A very satisfying meal. Black cod is very good. Reasonable prices. The only downside is the food comes not fast

Prices way too high for the quality. Ordered a couple lunch specials – some rolls were ok, but two were really bad. The sweet potato tempura roll was insanely dry and needed sauce (like other sushi places do). The kicker though was the jalapeno yellowtail roll. No self-respecting restaurant should serve this. It was sooooo slimy and disgusting. See pic. Nasty.

Cute spot. The backyard area is nice. Heaters and some art as well as a small tree with lights on it. Had the eel tempura, crab and avocado roll. Delicious! Also tried their karage which was ok. Was missing some lime. Service was good. Def would come back

It’s like walking into a piece of Japan right in the heart of Williamsburg. The food is genuinely and expertly crafted, with a menu that is very affordable. Completely worth the visit in small or large groups!

This is my favorite sushi spot in Brooklyn. My boyfriend and I come here every single week, ordering the same things because we like it so much. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Nice backyard in the back if you’d like to sit outside (inside seating is available as well). Quality of the is great every single time and the check is always reasonable. Check it out sometime.
