Tried this restaurant last year for the first time. The food was delicious and fresh. But recently the food quality become horrible. Ordered few rolls today, the fish is dry and not fresh! The avocado inside the roll is dark! Completely waste my calories!

If you want to have best sushi in foster city/ San Mateo area, this is your place. Besides the quality, you get a great service. The owner, always there to give the highest experience you can get. When you became a regular, as soonest you walk in they all anticipate your need as a real VIP. Azuki Sushi is a place that you will always come back. Great job!!!

Cozy little spot with clean, comfy seats. Fish and meat was very fresh, and the steak teriyaki was some of the best I’ve had in a while. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for some good price comfort sushi.

I stopped by after getting an amazing massage in the same plaza. The restaurant is quaint but was relatively busy. My friend enjoyed the poke bowl and escolar sashimi. I ordered the double albacore roll and wasn’t feeling it. The overall flavor combinations were simple and not very creative. Maybe I should’ve tried something different but I probably won’t go back.

We all enjoyed our dinners here. I’m not a raw fish fan so I had the tonkatsu, which was excellent. I prefer it served over a mound of shredded cabbage but it was very good, lean and pounded thin. The salad and miso soup were great. My dinner companions had a variety of sashimi and other sushi and seemed to enjoy them quite a lot. We will be back!
