I stopped by for lunch on a Tuesday, and it was quite empty. That was expected, being early in the week. We wanted to try the hibachi. The atmosphere was nice, very open and airy. I didn’t like the sticky feel of the carpet and floors. It showed that it had seen better days. The restroom also had only one sink, which I didn’t like, since it was in a small corner.

Aka has an open concept floor plan unliked other Hibachi places we had dined in. A nice change. Strange though, it was quite empty on a weekday afternoon.

We enjoyed a family hibachi meal at Aka Hibachi & Sushi. The host, waiter, and the chef were all very nice. The chef had a nice sense of humor. Besides the noodles, the food was great. Although I wished they had the orange sauce some Hibachi places have. The kids really enjoyed the show. Although prices were a little higher, I believe are typical for a Hibachi place. Location was perfect. It was nice to be able to walk around the shops in the center and have coffee and dessert after the meal. All in all we had a great experience.

This is a very clean restaurant. The staff were nice & very polite. The chairs are not comfortable at all though. I did enjoy having the chef cook the food right in front of me.

First time here. Prices were reasonable. Food could use seasoning and service was….ok. I ordered just vegetables and white rice. The vegetables were not seasoned at all. Wife ordered the chicken and vegetables and she thought the same no seasoning. To give benefit of the doubt we did order our food without the garlic butter but not sure how much difference that would make.

The salad was just plain lettuce and dressing. Typical spend $60 and need to order a pizza after as the rolls are small and everything is over priced. This is lunch, 6 pieces of samon, 1 roll, salad and coke $65.00. There are just better places with lower prices and bigger servings in Allen/Plano. Bill should have been about $40. I was the only one in there for lunch. It still took 15 min for the sushi to come.
