I have dined/ordered at AJ’s pizza in Butler for awhile now, and after being skeptical due to the reviews as of late in regards to their staff and food, I am happy to say, it is still amazing if not more. The women that answer the phones are kind, courteous, respectful and amazingly accommodating. Even as I can hear the multiple phone lines ringing in the background, they never made me feel rushed or less than the next customer. The front desk male employee was nothing but sweet and attentive to our needs as consumers. I would highly recommend this establishment, (even as a picky eater) they have yet to get my order wrong. Props to the staff and new/old owners for training your staff to the highest degree!

i ordered a cheesesteak and it came without cheese. when i called to tell them, the manager told me i was wrong because told me he made it and goes “i personally remember putting cheese on it” but clearly there wasn’t any cheese. so much for the manager doing his job right, i asked them to come through the side to not wake my kid and of course they came through the front and rang the bell. do better management. the customer is always right but clearly not at ajs pizza, go down the street to Danny’s for better service.

I was there a couple weeks ago. The people were super nice. The food was delicious. Great pizza amd pasta. Sonny was who served us the food. He was funny and even gave me some of his delicious coffee. Will definitely go back next time I’m in New Jersey.

I’d like to leave one star for this instance in particular, but i’m leaving 5 stars because we love this place and order frequently. We love the food, the prices are great, and staff is *always* friendly. However, had a really rude employee today while ordering. I get it, lunch rush in a popular place is really stressful. I’ve been a server, i’ve had plenty of times like that. And It’s bad enough being an employee, dealing with unnecessarily rude customers. So, being a customer dealing with an unnecessarily rude employee? No thanks. We almost cancelled after that. But since it sounded so busy and we had such a big order that was probably already being filled, we didn’t. AJ’s is always great all around, but I don’t think I want to worry about this girl’s attitude just to order lunch. It’s not that hard to be nice. Probably won’t be ordering again very soon.

Had catering delivered over the weekend, a full tray of sausage and peppers, 4 cheese pizzas and a gluten free pizza. It arrived hot and on time. They ran out of GF pizza but the cauliflower one served the same purpose. Better prices than their competition.

Ordered two pies today and was told only a 30 min delivery. Turns out we waited and hour and 20 mins for our pies to be delivered. Could have just picked them up. When I called about the issue I was told your food will be there shortly and then hung up the phone on me. Received the pizza and was not good tasting at all. Barely had sauce on them. Called back to speak to a manager and was told they are not available . Pour customer service. This place has gone downhill since AJ left.

Consistently good pizza with reasonable delivery times even when they are busy. Delivery drivers are always quick polite and courteous, as well as appreciative of the tips. We use them at least a couple times a week at work.

My new go to pizza spot. They use homemade tomato sauce and it gave me no heartburn. Decent pizza slices. Keep your coupons girlllll! I ordered 4 large cheese pizzas for a party this week for 39.99 which came up to 42.00 with tax and things. You truly get your moneys worth for that since normally it would be $50 plus tax. Made quick and ready for pickup. Professional staff. Clean place. Small dining area. Street parking only available.

Horrible……they can’t even comprehend a salad over the phone. I asked for just ice-berg lettece,rolled up meat like on an antipasta,green and black olives and fresh mozzarella. And they were able to mess that even up! It took 1 hang up and 10 min. On hold to order just a salad

Ordered last Saturday night, eggplant parmigiana, veal cutlets parmigiana, wings, cheesesteak, grilled chicken, Caesar salad.. everything was absolutely terrible we were embarrassed for our guests… eggplant and veal were cut into pieces(very weak) sandwiches… salad was drenched and tasteless, cheesesteak was runny and also tasteless… we have ordered from AJ’s before… seems like new owners or new chef…. Won’t be going back anytime soon…
