I was referred to this place by some locals and I was very excited to try. I placed an order over the phone, was provided a pick up time. When I got the the fish market, order was ready and made exactly as ordered. I ready to dig in, when I took my first bite of snapper and it wasn’t flavorful. Although the fish was cooked well, and they give large portions here, the seasoning was lacking. I also ordered a small peach cobbler and that was PACKED WITH FLAVOR. The cobbler crust was flaky and buttery, I will definitely be going back, but please order and take home or BYOS (bring your own seasoning).

I have been to this place a few times & have sent many people… because their seafood is really good & it’s black owned! So when my dad says he wants seafood I take a nice drive down to Lake Elsinore for his fish & oysters. But today I was disappointed… I ordered my new fav shrimp po boy & discussed how good it was & how I like it ESPECIALLY with the avocado & bacon (which she says they don’t put bacon anymore) … unfortunately when I got home my sandwich was missing the avocado… had a small piece of tomato & lettuce was not the best… but hen I called to tell them of my disappointment… she told me I can come back… but I am little ways from there. She then said,”I don’t know what to tell you” which hurt because we are intentionally supporting them… I had hoped our patronage was appreciated enough to offer some sort of recompense for my dissatisfaction… & I guess not. I included a picture… idk am I wrong?

Amazing fried fish and shrimp. The sweet potato fries were delicious as well. We got a dinner combo to share between my husband. Will definitely be back

Our catfish dinner ! To start off, the parking lot was being resurfaced, and we walked into an empty establishment. They acted pleased that they had customers. Our catfish was definitely undercooked and had no flavor. The fried okra was o.k., my colard greens were very good, our cokes were served in cans with no glass or cup of ice ?

Been wanting to try this spot for a minute and finally made it. Customer service was great! I had the fried oysters, okra and Mac n cheese and a piece of fish. Disappointed in the Mac n Cheese no taste and looked like potatoe salad. And the extra piece of fish was way to small. I will give them another try to try out other sides.

I can’t get over it’s like 20 bucks for one plate of whatever minimum nothing under like 12 bucks for the scrawniest skimpiest portions I wouldn’t even bother honestly head to H salt you’ll be better off unless like you grew up here or you know you maybe don’t know any different.. if you can get past the smell to hang on to your appetite I guess you’re one step ahead from the gate it smells like rotten fish in there

AJ’s is one of my favorite fish restaurants! My boyfriend and I are in love with Combo a for the red snapper. It comes with 2 sides (we get hush puppies and fries) and 4 pieces of medium shrimp. Combined with the cocktail aside is even better. Absolutely delicious! Never gets old. Only $13 dollars for a filling, delicious meal. Highly recommend for those who love seafood!

Man oh Man…This place is great! It is a hidden gem tucked away in Lake Elsinore. If you love fried fish like I do, you have to check it out. So I grew up in L.A. and we had some great fish spots growing up. When I moved all the way out here I could not find any close to home that even resembled that unless I drove all the way to Rialto, but about 7 years ago, I heard from someone at the barber shop that there was a hidden spot in Elsinore that could live up to the dream. They were right! Located in the corner of a small, dusty strip mall, but this family-owned operation takes care of business when it comes to Fish, Shrimp and Chicken Wangs. Pretty sure every thing else in there is good, but that’s all I’ve ever had from there. Check it out you guys.
