The waitresses were attentive and quirky. We sat and enjoyed ourselves for longer than we should have but they didn’t complain and kept our drinks filled. The burgers were big and yummy. The drinks strong and tasty. Little disappointed they didn’t have orange slices for the blue moon.

Best place in Baker City to dine and drink. Loved the casual and welcoming atmosphere. Tried the chicken jalapeño pasta and the bleu burger. Both were good, but I would have preferred the bleu cheese crumbled instead of made into a sauce. Staff and patrons are super friendly, menu selection is adequate, draft beer was nice and cold. They offer a full service bar and sometimes have live music.

This place has great food and it’s full alot of the time. The atmosphere is good although a little loud. Great place for a bite to eat with your family or alone. Prices are a little high, but, totally worth the extra few dollars.

We had the opportunity of eating at AJs last summer. The food was quite delicious. The burger was perfectly cooked with excellent portions. A nice selection of local beer. We ate outside during Labor Day weekend. The service was excellent. The waitress was attentive and friendly. Especially give that she had all of the outside tables as well as tables inside. This is a great local restaurant. Especially during the warmer months.

This is currently the best spot in town! The pizza is delicious (this is the best pizza spot in Baker City) as well as the burgers and hot sandwiches! The atmosphere as stated in the title and is like a pub or bar and grill. It can get a little noisy inside as this is a popular place. So, if you want quieter seats I would suggest sitting outside or ordering to go. The pricing is very good for what you receive, as you might be able to split some of these meals. Every time I go here with someone new to our little town they are impressed! If you are looking for a restaurant gift card idea this is it! The food is flavourful and inventive. Definitely give this restaurant a try!

We probably wouldn’t have found this place if the lady checking us in at the Bridge St. Inn (see my review for this spot, too) hadn’t told us about it. It was within easy walking distance (about ten minutes) and the walk itself was fun – Baker City’s historic downtown has a friendly and distinctly Oregonian vibe – lots to see. There were animal sculptures everywhere, old buildings with interesting architectural elements, fun store fronts. AJ’s Corner Brick Bar and Grill was busy but there was no wait. We had a great server – had fun chatting with her. I ordered the Thai Chicken pizza with a gluten free crust and my husband got AJ’s Supreme pizza, along with a local brewing company’s IPA that he said was excellent. I can say without a doubt that this was one of the most delicious pizzas I’ve had in years. We were hungry and we had great food and drinks in a building brimming with that ambiance that can only come from age…you just can’t ask for better than that. We would absolutely go back.

What an amazing surprise with this place. It certainly looked legit from other reviews, but I honestly didn’t know what was in store. Our server was really fantastic. She was very friendly and super personable. I ordered the Signature Burger and let me tell you. I would not even be lying if I said that it’s one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Medium cooked, super juicy, amazing flavor, and damn it if it just doesn’t look incredible! I would 100% recommend this sweet little spot. You will certainly not regret it.
