Food is good, my favorite local spot for sushi while I’m at work. Pick up items are prepared quickly, and I appreciate they separate the rolls into separate packaging when asked.

Only really order out and I only order sushi but it’s really good and usually timely. People are nice and if you order during lunch hours pretty cheap. Sushi isn’t too expensive outside of those hrs either. If you eat on budget order their combos and definitely try the sexy jalapenos

I was excited to get a sushi place in Brewster. Unfortunately this place does not hit the mark. The food itself is very tasty. That doesn’t make up for the fact that my friend and I both got very sick after eating here. I won’t be coming back.

I have always loved this place but keep forgetting it is there. The staff is always friendly and the food is always great and very fresh! Quaint little place tucked away in the plaza, one day I would like to try dining in. If you like good sushi, you will LOVE this place!!!

There’s sushi that is served in truly Japanese sushi restaurants, then there’s good sushi at Zen in Danbury, and then there is the “other” sushi. Based on the reviews here, I thought I’d try the “Best in Brewster” (as stated on their website) Aji Sushi. Actually, there are no other sushi places in Brewster so, there’s that. Ordered the Sushi Deluxe and an extra eel/avocado roll for take out. The place had a “old” fried smell. Was only there waiting 5 minutes and the mrs said she smelled it on my clothes when I got back in the car. The food – I understand how tough it’s been for the restaurant industry lately and can accept the sushi pieces being smaller than usual. Zen in Danbury is doing the same thing and that’s cool. As long as the quality is still good. Here the fish seemed fresh enough (that’s why 2 stars and not 1) but the rice was not. If you truly love sushi, then you know it starts with the rice! This rice seemed to be like mashed up, re-steamed day-old rice with some rice pieces feeling more dry than others. The menu said “tuna roll” but it was chopped up like a spicy/crunchy tuna roll but it was neither, just chopped and made with the same funky rice. Same for the avocado/eel roll with almost no eel. The shaved pickled ginger and the small wasabi dab both had a sitting-out-too-long funky taste to it too. Same with the miso soup. Well, I gave it a try.

Amazing sushi menu! I had the salmon tempura roll and the red dragon roll, both the choices were tasty to every bit. The place wasn’t very crowded but it usually gets busy after 6 pm. So for a peaceful meal a 3-4 pm would be the best. I’m definitely going back there for more!
