Soul food is so yummy! Doris and Mina welcomed us in like as if we were family. The menu is very simple and don’t let the presentation of the food in styrofoam containers fool you. We ordered ribs and burgers and boy were they great! The ribs are huge and smothered in a honey barbeque sauce. The burgers are homemade and are juicy and very flavorful. For the sides the Mac ‘n Cheese, Green Beans, and bbq beans are the best!

Amazing food and amazing service. Everything came out hot, fresh and was so full of flavor. The staff is so kind and even gave us samples to try the sides. The portions were huge and we left full and happy.

I enjoyed fried catfish. Piping hot, crunchy light breading, great flavor without additional sauce. Two sides: baked beans and Mac and Cheese were good but nothing exceptional. My wife said her hamburger was too salty for her taste. French fries I thought were very good as a stand alone. Everything was hot and fresh. Don’t leave without a peice of cheesecake. Not overly sweet or rich just plain delicious. One star off on a over salted burger. Would I give it another try? Hell yeah. Excellent owner and service.

If you like greens, you can’t go wrong at Ain’t Yo Momma Kitchen! Best greens I have ever eaten. Catfish nuggets are great. Ribs are really good, too. Baked beans are different – sweet with a hint of something more – maybe vanilla? but still good and I usually don’t care for really sweet beans. Mac and Cheese was good and the mashed potatoes were just like what my wife makes – homemade and real.

We stopped by here on a whim and it was AMAZING. GET THE CHICKEN NACHOS WITH COOL RANCH DORITOS. Best thing ever. The lasagna and macaroni was pretty good too. The employees were super kind to us and treated us well. They also gave us bread pudding on the house which was very nice of them. We will definitely be back.

We stopped here, it was the only restaurant open. Had chicken nachos (it was literally chunks of cold chicken on top of Doritos topped with nacho cheese) the cost was $15.99. Tried my husband’s catfish- had a muddy water taste ($19.99) they didn’t have a lot of their menu items because their refrigerator was just fixed. The staff was super nice but I don’t think we will return. I hope things go better for them!

Let me tell you about this food!!! Holy moly it is fantastic! Best part is they treat you like family! I have never eaten somewhere so many times in a week but I could never get tired of it! The greens/ribs/stuffing/turkey yummmm! Best around and best family owned business ever! Watch out they even got a food truck! YASSSS!!!

Food is phenomenal. I ate the chicken and cornbread dressing with astonishing speed because it was so freaking good. Restaurant is very casual. Be prepared to wait a minute if there are other people being waited upon. Believe me it is worth it.

When we went, there was only one sever, which I assume was the owner. She took forever to come greet us and ask us for our drinks. The menu was super small and not much to choose from. They were out of beef so I couldn’t get 3 things so the menu became even more limited. We were also ready to order but she left to get our drinks and that took awhile. She then took our food order and surprisingly the food came at a decent time. I asked for green beans as a side and got greens instead. I had to ask a cook staff to get me the green beans. The green beans were super salty so I couldn’t eat them. The food we had was kind of bland and not enjoyable. The server was kind of rude each time we had to ask her to come take our order and to give us our bill so we could out of there. We won’t back again.
