This is a really cool place! Was first in line got greeted by the cutter at the door, he talked to us about the menu items and our choices, super nice guy. I ordered a half a pound of brisket which I should have gotten more because that brisket was beautiful! It was all barked up, looked and tasted great. It was a perfect combination of seasoning, smoke flavor and really good quality brisket. I would say that some of the best brisket I have had in Arizona. The staff was super nice and friendly, I look forward to stopping by again and trying rest of the menu.

All around 5 star experience. Not all things were available so go in with the expectation they may not have every menu item. To me, this was perfectly acceptable as it is a Mom and Pop like restaurant (elevated). Highly recommend.

Been about a year since I’ve been back here but was craving some good brisket. Made the drive out there, was slightly busy when I arrived but luckily there was no line. As expected everything was tasty but they kinda skimped on the portion sizes, though, which was a surprising letdown… didn’t pile on as much meat as they used to and were a bit fiddly with the BBQ sauce when asked.

We were in town for an elk hunt and stopped by to have some BBQ. I’m normally extremely skeptical/critical about BBQ places because the flavor doesn’t match my expectation and the meat rarely has any flavor aside from the sauce its drenched in, but this place was outstanding! If we lived closer, we would frequent this place at least once a week. We tried both the lean and moist brisket along with the Mexican corn and “smocked” macaroni and cheese. Everything was wonderful.

Beyond incredible!! Smoked Brisket Wings were life-changing!! I would drive all the way up form Phoenix again just for those. Expect a long-slow line and go early so they don’t sell out. Amazing Carnivore Keto options.

The food here is great, which is why we wanted to order catering for a work party. We knew they would be busy, which is why we emailed them a month ahead of time to get a quote and an order in. They did respond at first, letting us know the quote would be a week or two out as the next two weekends were extremely busy. However, we gave them a week extra to respond, trying to be understanding of how busy they were. Then an email was sent a few days ago to follow up, and have not heard back. It’s unfortunately too late for us to order catering now as we don’t want to risk not having any food at all, so we’ve opted for another BBQ place in town. What a shame.

Just recently visited Agee’s thanks to my boss, and wasn’t disappointed at ALL. I had the pulled pork sandwich and a side of smoked mac an cheese. The pulled pork just melted in my mouth, and the smoked mac an cheese was perfect. A lot of places seem to have to much of a smokey flavor in their smoked mac and cheese, or anything smoked for that matter, but Agee’s provided a perfect hint of smoke with that oh so good flavor of mac an cheese we all love. Definitely a recommended family spot to have a nice lunch, and they provide indoor and outdoor seating which is definitely a plus if you enjoy the option of outdoor seating.

Great barbecue brisket and pulled pork. Very generous servings. Friendly, hardworking staff. The smoke of the cooking meat is intoxicating! And then you walk inside and watch them fix your meal…bring extra salivary glands! Delicious!

Fantastic barbecue!!! Ordered the pulled pork, baked beans, smoked mac-n-cheese, and the brisket. Both meat selections, were fall apart in your mouth tender, and full of flavor. Baked beans were nice and sweet and tasted similar to a bushes baked beans in a good way, for comparison!!! Mac-n-cheese was really creamy, smoky, and delicious. All serving sizes were great and the service was very friendly which is always a plus. There is a bar on one side and a restaurant (see pics) on the other side to order food. Outdoor and indoor seating available. The bbq sauce is more of a North Carolina vinegar based sauce (based on my taste buds ) which I loved with the pulled pork. A must try when in munds park
