Food was excellent, 4.5 stars But, we requested to split the credit cards with our friends and it came back 30:70 !?!?? We agreed we would pay the tip to make it somewhat closer to 50:50. In the morning in my email was a note from our cc company that Agave also broke out the food&beverage part of the bill from the tip. ???!! … “Credit card not present during this transaction”. What the heck ?? Somebody needs cashiering lessons❗️ And, how about less beans and rice, then adding some greens with the enchiladas. Nevertheless very tasty.

Delicious breakfast burritos and friendly service. We had a second round of the chips and salsa. Definitely a returning costumer.

Disappointing food. We ordered a large to go order after having this restaurant recommended to us. Sadly the food did not rate with some of the haunts we are used to. In addition, one of our orders was missing, so we all had to share good to have enough for all six of us. Lastly, their online menus are highly confusing- what is visible on Google does not match what’s available on the website or in store.

Muy buena conida. What a great restaurant almost every single thing seemed perfect from the architecture to the food to the service. I ordered a chimichanga burrito with chicken and no beans, and it was absolutely delicious and filling. It was so big I had to take half of it home. The chips with the salsa were excellent. This is a great place to take a family or a date.

Met a friend here today for lunch, I’ve never been there before. There were literally four tables with customers, and a lot of empty tables, not busy at all for a Friday at 11:30AM. I thought “This is not a good sign.” Although there were 4-5 servers walking around, it took 15-20 minutes to bring water. Then another 10-15 minutes to take our order, my friend ordered a Fajita salad and I ordered Mole Pork. But when the food came out in about 10 minutes, I jokingly said to the server, “That was fast, you must have made it already.” When I took my first bite, I realized that was the truth; none of it was hot, maybe room temperature. The rice, beans and pork were probably cooked earlier in the day and were sitting in a lukewarm steam table for a few hours. Not good.

Agave catered an event and the food and service was excellent! Our guests were delighted by the taco bar and hand-made agua frescas. So, so delicious!

Great little restaurant tucked away in the Safeway plaza. Great service. HUGE portions (enough for 2 people), very affordable in an expensive town. I’ll be back.

Him how to start this review I had a very high expectations for the Mexican restaurant and when we arrived in Hillsboro we were expecting it to be in the queue part of town but it was actually in a Safeway strip mall so that that was a surprise but it was OK because when we got inside we thought that the atmosphere was quite authentic we went to Mexico recently and he reminded us of a Taqueria/Miss calorie are in Mexico so that was good. Now let’s talk about the service so when we got in we had to wait for a table even though I saw a couple saw a couple empty tables however it was OK because it was only a 15 minute wait but I was rather hungry because it was pretty late and we had been driving for a while so I just wanted to sit down but when we sat down they did give us chips and I thought the chips were fresh but they probably were just chips reheated so they’re OK they were chips and I ate a lot of the chips because the food service well let’s talk about the food service and the food service was slow I ordered Horchata and took a long time for them to fill the glass and I thought it would be bigger but then it wasn’t that big but it was good overall good that’s good because it took a long time for the food to come out so I just had for a bit. Yeah yeah I guess so we went so we waited 15 minutes to get a table that I drinks within five minutes or so but then we waited probably 30 minutes to get a food which is pretty long for what we wanted to just standard food when the food came out it was all right. But it price was probably 25-what the food was I got a fish taco and then it was covered and stuff but then when I dug around in my fish taco it turns out the fish was really small like if you think about the size of a taco and then you think about how much fish is on it it was probably like 1/8 of the taco was fish which is not that high when you’re paying like I’ll you know quite a bit of money for fish tacos to have an eighth of a tacos portion and then most of it was cabbage and pineapple so there was an a lot of fish on the fish taco it’s mostly just filler and then I also ordered the Malay which was good but the serving of the Molly was quite small and then it came with beans and rice and radish which was an ordinary nothing special and then they almost forgot my tortillas so I Saul the tortillas and I made eye contact with the tortillas but then they didn’t bring the tortillas right away I just was staring at the tortillas for like 10 minutes just looking at them knowing that they were mine but I didn’t have them on my table so I was tortilla less for sometime before the tortillas got to me. What else to say about this restaurant the decor decor was was good and there’s a lot of Mezcal however I didn’t have the Mezcal I had half of corona instead but the rim of the glass for the granite was too spicy so I couldn’t finish y’all I could taste was spice chili not Corona stop
