I’ve gotten takeout from this restaurant a couple times in the past two weeks and have been impressed. The phone ordering process has gone smoothly and my order has been accurate. I’ve gotten the lunch fajitas and they come with a large helping of chips and salsa and the value for my meal is excellent. The in-store service has also been great.

The food was delicious and we love the small town atmosphere. Very busy and we were seated in an area that was apart from the main dining room. Would have preferred to be out on the patio, though. Great variety of typical menu items and they have a molcajete which I will be going back to try sometime. If you’re near Mayer and hungry, give this place a try.

Brought my daughter here today for an early lunch and was 100% impressed. Our server was phenomenal and the food was so excellent that we asked our server to compliment the chef. We come here often but after today we agreed we need to frequent Agave more often.

The food was great as expectedand our waiter was very nice and patient. The drink menu was very good and had good options and I liked the music that was being played. They also had a couple tv’s set up around the building with sports games on.

Amazing food and service. Huge portions, so go there when you’re hungry. Didn’t skimp on the tequila in the margaritas, either (my photo shows the medium size). Pass on the dessert and focus on the mains and drinks. Great for families and small groups. Check out the combos if you want a variety.

Best chips, Salsa & guacamole. My Fajitas and the mango Margarita were amazing. My daughter had a burrito entree that she loved and my son had chicken quesadillas. Everything was so delicious! Esther was a great server and she was gracious to remake my drink. Our favorite restaurant besides Winchester & Rye in Victoria.

My husband took a client here fir lunch one day. That evening he said I have the best Mexican restaurant to take you to. I found the prices are so reasonable, the service was very good and so was the food! I would highly recommend and will be back again.

Heard this was best Mexican food even better than twin cities. Service was very mediocre. Food was just tasteless with no seasoning. Chicken stuffed in everything but was not marinated. Refried beans were mushy. Didn’t ask to refill anything or if we even wanted sour cream. Best thing we ate was chips and salsa. Very poor attempt for a restaurant with as high a rating as they have. Don’t waste your money!
