Nice place, clean and great food. We actually ate here for breakfast, lunch and dinner same day. Breakfast being after 11am considering we woke up late. The service was great for 1st two shifts. However, by the 3rd shirt the bar tender was mot pleasant. His name was Abbda. We were excited and friendly. He didn’t smile and acted like he couldn’t hear us. He wasn’t pleasant at all. However, I have a four start because food was amazing. We had two meals and nice drinks.

Food…Authentic and fresh. The chips werent stale and salsa was just right. First time ordering the dish I did, but will buy again. It came hot and was well prepared.

The birria tacos were pretty good. The best part were the drinks. The meat was seasoned, I just prefer my birria sauce thicker. It was still good, though. The rice was a banger!!! The service was A1. The waitress was attentive and had an amazing attitude. I will visit again for the food and my favorite drink, the Dragon Fruit Margarita !

Our family was in town for a memorial service for our family member. We called the day off to see if our large group of 36 could be accommodated. Within 2 hours we had the reservation set. They opened up their upstairs and had everything ready for us when we showed up. They served us efficiently and quickly! Our waiter & waitress did a great job. The food was delish! The prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend them.

First and foremost the personnel and the service at agave is exceptional. All the employees treat every customer with dignity and respect. The food to include the tacos stand on Friday and Saturday for latin nights are beyond great. To caveat of the individual whom stated that the security guards miss treated her and pounded her to the ground was a lie. Not only did I went there to have dinner with my ole lady but I was physically there for latin night to enjoy the evening and the latin music. It saddens me that an individual like that female in which for one acted violently and belligerent wants to jeopardize a well structured establishment reputation. I will say that the female who gave the bad review as I stated was violent and belligerent, and not only to say she has been banned by many establishments in downtown Columbus but also was the one who bit two security guards in which prompt them to use any means for self defense. End state is this establishment i great and known for their exceptional service, the dignity and respect they render to their customers and for their latin nights. I will highly advice to try them out. You won’t be disappointed. Please try their micheladas and drinks

Agave is in a great location with lots of outdoor seating. We enjoyed the guacamole, nice and chunky with onions and tomatoes. They played current Spanish music, which we appreciated. The entrees were disappointing. I ordered chicken tacos. Three sad soft tacos laying open on a plate with 3-4 skinny bits of chicken with a relish on top. Not a lot of taste. I recommend using a taco rack to hold the tacos. My fiancee ordered steak and chicken fajitas. Very little meat was included. Service wasn’t the best but I believe they didn’t have enough staff. There were two young men lounging by the door that were not inclined to help the waitress. They could refill glasses and drop of chips and salsa and the like in my opinion.

Stopped by Agave with a party of 8 tonight. The restaurant we originally tried to go to around the corner was unexpectedly closed, so we were grateful to get a table fairly quickly. This place was busy for a Monday night. To be honest we were expecting a just ok dinner, but everyone in our party was pleasantly surprised with the food quality. The Sonora burrito was good, and the Dos Equis was cold. Salsa was also good. Ask for the hot salsa if that’s your thing. Forgot to take a pic of the food when it came out, but here’s the empty plate!

We were finally able to sit since it is a very popular place. The food is very good and not expensive. They also have a full bar with TVs that you can sit at. Seating is available outside as well. They served us promptly and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The bathrooms were very clean. I had the chicken tacos and it was delicious, my daughter had the fish tacos wit Talapia and scallops. Great service, great food, great background music. I definitely recommend Agave Bar & Grill!!!
