The bakes and saltfish and smoked herring is an A+ here! Tasted sooo good! They give generous portions and the sweet lady (forgot her name) who served us today was extremely personable & kind. Parking is tight in the area & they only take cash, so keep that in mind! Prices were extremely reasonable.

OMG.. Been going here for well over 15 years. The best carribean and international dishes I’ve tried. In my opinion better than Golden Krust. Yes I said better. The prices are great and you feed your whole family from this place and they are not stingy with the food breakfast, lunch or dinner. My favorite is the oxtails nice and tender and juicy just how I like it they carry small or large at a reasonable price.

I’ve visited a few times over the past year and I have always gooten good food and service. The dishes are authentically West Indian, no scrimping on flavors here. I recommend trying this restaurant at least once and the food will bring your back!

My go to place for fresh dhal phuri and Tamarind sauce. The food is awesome but just wished the staff would smile a little more as good as their food is and move a little faster.

Food is excellent. Slow service but it’s worth the long wait.

New management/ownership of the business and their standards has decreased dramatically. New employees are unfriendly and not being courteous by any means. But, worst of all I purchased a cheese roll yesterday for my sick brother who’s hospitalized in critical condition and that was his request, only to discover that the cheese roll had mold inside of it. That tells me it was several days old. I was very disappointed and upset. No longer a supporter. I go to SPICE &THINGS RESTAURANT on main Street, East Orange, NJ. Much cheaper, tastier, and dainty. Pastries are true Guyanese style.

do not ever eat from there They serve old food and you can clearly tell that they use the food from three or four days prior to serving it. When I got my food my rice was burned, and the oxtail was extremely old with no flavor..You would definitely get food poisoning from this place..

Fried bake, fried bake, fried bake. The best Fried bake you have ever tasted. I will do more reviews as I try more of their food.

I really wish that this place moved a lot faster. It’s Guyanese owned the food is good but everyone moves so slow. Its like a love hate relationship for me, and I just can’t understand it. But you won’t be disappointed in the food.
