The best food I’ve ever had in Providence and the prices are remarkable, very affordable with big plates of food. my friends and I tried eachothers plates and we couldn’t complain about a thing! I’d definitely make a reservation so you can be seated comfortably… people were plotting and hovering over our table before we left. We went around 9pm on a Saturday so the music was very loud we couldn’t hear each other speak, and the lights were off so we couldn’t really see our food, it was giving club vibes which was appropriate for a Saturday night but a little intense at the same time, it got packed as we were leaving. Deff going back!

It’s beautiful inside. I love the setting and decor. It’s relaxing as you wait for your order. It’s HUGE. The food was tastefully ,deliciously cooked. It took me 10 minutes to find the restaurant because I was new in the area. I walked back and forth on the wrong street. So funny. I was hungry and craving Liberian food so badly . I was drooling and hungry.I was so upset trying to find it but, I never gave up. I kept walking and finally found it ! Whew. The area is beautiful. It’s in a great business oriented neighborhood. The Liberian girl that took my order was pretty, friendly and welcoming. I LOVE THAT! I complained about not being able to find the place quickly and she apologized. LOL. ( It’s not your fault sweetie . I’m new in town )

Food super fresh! The owner and staff exceptional service all around! Best African food in Providence R.I. The casava soup , very meaty! Kabobs and plantains. I can’t express how much I enjoyed myself! Order it all you won’t regret it!

This was the worst African food that I have ever eaten. I ordered the jollof rice and fried fish-snapper. The fish was fried so hard that there was no meat on the bones. It seemed like a piece of old fish that was refried. The vegetables were cold and the rice was lukewarm. Thus, my dinner was ruined. It was good thing that I had ordered some fried wings as an appetizer. We spoke to the manager who made excuses for the cook and food. One person with me ordered a dish she had had before, but this time it was different. He accused her of not knowing what she ordered the first time because the dish hadn’t changed. No, I will not be returning to this restaurant.

I could write a book on the service I received today. To sum it all up it was HORRIBLE. The waitress Yama really needs some training and people skills. First I would like say I order food from here many times before they moved to this spot. Food has always been great. I always order the same meal. About a month ago I came to the new spot with two other people. We dine in. Yama was are waitress which I didn’t know her name at that time. Since she didn’t give it. We also didn’t have much interaction with her. She was too busy interacting with other workers. Her waitress services is like the waitresses at the Chinese buffet. So today I go back there and Yama is our waitress again. We received the same Chinese buffet waitress service. I went back because the food as always been great. Today I change up and ordered something different. I didn’t like it at all(dry rice and grill chicken) . I’m really not going to get all into what we went through on tonite at this place. I will say the owner Jerry was called twice. He did try to make it right. I will end this by saying I will never eat here ever again . The top reason is Yama. The only reason I know her name is because we asked her. I always tried to support black business. This is one has left a bad taste in my mouth.

I’ve been here a few times. Management and staffs are very friendly. The atmosphere is very layback and food is amazing. This is a great place to invite friends to socialize. I’m west African myself. I love seeing people from my country doing great things to accelerate. The only complaint I have is the wait time. The food is way too delicious to be waiting so long. Will I still recommend this restaurant?…. absolutely, you will love it there.

On Feb. 2nd I placed an order over the phone for Jollof & Chicken. They told me they didn’t have chicken at the time so I settled for fish. I called at 9PM & when asking when it would be ready I was told 15-20mins. I arrived at 9:35 only to be told the food isn’t ready. I explained that I was in a rush & needed to be somewhere, but that I would return back. He seemed hesitant to let me leave so he went back to check on the food & he told me they were packing it up. Upon receiving the food & getting ready to pay I noticed that the Jollof Rice was cold. After telling the owner that it was cold he told me it was fresh & that he could go and heat it up. I told him no because I was in a rush and had to leave. I paid & left in disappointment.

Such a great experience! Amazingly delicious Jollof rice and beef (shish kabob)! Also, one of the best chicken wings I’ve ever eaten, well-cooked and delicious.
