First time to Denver, Colorado and the place grabbed our attention. We originally were going to lunch at a different location around the corner but we parked and got out of the car and the smell of the food stopped us in our tracks. We walked up and we’re happily greeted and shown around the establishment and definitely decided to stay. Everything was amazing from the food to the over all hospitality. I definitely recommend anyone looking for a new place to check out while in Denver.

We saw Adobo on Fresh, Fried & Crispy on Netflix! We recently visited Denver on a family vacation and thought we would give it a try. Let me start with, the food was AMAZING! I honestly wish though that we could have had the food truck experience. I rated this a 4 instead of a 5 because of the location. Let me explain. First the good/excellent. The food is spectacular! We had the featured items from the show, including the Lumpia Egg Rolls and the Green Chile Fries. We added smoked carnitas to the fries and also tried the Elote’, Nacho Verde, and the Red Chile Avo Tostada. It was all so fresh, tasted SO good, and had such intense original flavors. Well worth a try. My favorites were the Avo Tostada… so vibrant and flavorful. (My wife found it to be a bit too spicy for her…so beware) and the Elote’ was amazing as well. The Elote’ also has a kick and is super messy to eat… but amazing. The only complaint about the food would be that the smoked carnitas were extremely salty… a bit less and they’d be perfect. Now, about the location. It is a very cool place with a ton of drinks on tap. Grab a card, fill your own glass.. fun. But as an eatery, we had to order on an app, saw our waitress once, and had to pay a jacked up $10 service fee that made the whole thing stink a little. I hope one day the owner of Adobo has his own place, or just goes back to the fun food truck experience. Of course, that is all an individual matter of preference and taste… however, Adobo is a MUST TRY.

We came here because of the Netflix show Crispy and Fried (or something like that.)

Started out as a foodtruck, now located at first draft taproom. Food overall is pretty good. Veggie taco is very spicy. Baja beef and smoked carnitas tacos are the best. The smoked carnitas is a little salty, but it is nicely balanced out with the lime fig jam. Chicken adobo and spicy pinoy tacos are normal. Chips and salsa is okay, but the salsa is neither sour nor spicy, so some might not like it. Their ice cream is pretty unique – a little sour from balsamic vinegar and salty from cotija cheese. Exceptional customer service! Lots of murals in the area so would recommend taking a walk after.

Great venue, great food and drink choices. But how can you charge gratuity automatically when it was all self service? The “server” was professional and kind, but entered our own order, grabbed our food and bussed our own table. Didn’t seem like we should have had gratuity automatically charged.

Pour yourself tap room with a spectacular Mexican Taqueria in house. The chicken taco is quite unique.

I loved this place. They have options for everybody! Decorated for Christmas time and plenty of space to sit. The food is delicious! We had the cream cheese green Chili wonton and the lumpa. Both are delicious!

Definitely don’t recommend a cheeseburger with no bun. Only a patty and cheese tossed on a serving tray – no serving paper or lettuce leaf under it, no tomatoes or pickles or mustard or ketsup offered. Should have said something then, but didn’t know how to approach it if they thought this was an acceptable presentation of a $8.50 burger.

We’re visiting Denver and saw this place on Netflix so we had to give it a try. My experience was mix. I enjoyed the environment, the “pour your own” concept and staff was really friendly. The menu choices were also interesting and i appreciate that in a restaurant. However, i was disappointed in the food. We ordered tacos, queso and the rolls. First, the food took a little longer than expected, specially since there were two other customers there. But, i just thought that this is their process and i don’t mind. As soon as the food was brought over, i started noticing things. First, was the extra small amounts of chips with the Chips and queso. Not only that, they managed to give me like %50 percent broken chips. Then when i dipped in the queso, i noticed it was cold. Moving on to the tacos- they were also cold. I just don’t understand why. The taste was not my thing but that’s a personal preference. The rolls were my favorite thing. They tasted good, and were piping hot.
