The food was good, not great, but good. Burger was typical, and somewhat under seasoned. Fries were crispy and hot, so that made up for it. Onion rings were also bland, and would have benefited from some additional type of dipping sauce. Salad was just ok. However, overall good experience on the patio. Great views of the lake, and was pleasant to hang out. Server was attentive and friendly. Also enjoyed the live music that was going on. Keep in mind that you are paying a premium for the atmosphere.

I went in for a to go order, since it was right at opening time and I was already in the area. Service was good and what I’d expect. The food really missed the mark for me though. I ordered a togarashi ahi tuna sandwich, which came with fries. The tuna was fully cooked through and dry. The fries tasted really good at first, but the last half started to taste really chewy and stale, like old fries. I had really high hopes for the tuna, but this one just missed the mark.

The setting was great. Bees everywhere so you could not relax. The food was bad.I had fish & chips tarter sauce had copped egg in it. Bad! My friend had a pulled pork sandwitch. Coleslaw was on the bottom with the juice. It made the bun soggy & fell apart so it was a mess to even eat, plus it was not good.Long Island tea was $14.00. That price was out rages. Nothing was good, we would never go back. Or ever recommend it to anyone.

Great atmosphere and servers were good. I love sitting by the lake. They got my dog some water which was so great! The problem was I ordered a turkey club. What I got was a BLT with 2 thin slices of turkey and it was dry and blah. Do you see turkey? It’s on the left. “Remember the commercial “where’s the beef?” Look at the last turkey sandwich picture. That’s how it should look!! I found the beef! Or actually turkey but at a different restaurant.

Overall mediocre place for a patio. Our server was great. The drinks were not great. An aperol spritz that didn’t have much for the Prosecco in it. A Moscow mule that was real light on the ginger beer. The food was sub par. The fish and chips and walleye sandwich were the food items. The fish portion of the fish and chips were either well overdone or had a very strong fish odor and fish taste. The walleye sandwich was pretty decent. The fries were the best part of the food. Overall, I would go back for just bottled beer. No cocktails or food.

Not sure what happened but the menu has changed A LOT (and not in a great way). We stopped at Admiral D’s this past weekend as we have always loved the patio and their nachos (SO DANG GOOD!). Little did we know, the menu has changed in a major way. No more nachos, no pinot gregio, if you’re not a fish lover the menu doesn’t give you many options. The appetizer menu used to be GREAT for a happy hour and now it’s either something with fish or cheese curds or Brussel sprouts (both of which we got). We ended up heading down to Tally’s for more dinner options and a wider variety of wines. Hopefully the menu goes back to a bigger appetizer offering and at the very least, a house pinot gregio for a fresh happy hour!

Good service, great food. The atmosphere was tops. The ceviche was very tasty. Umami in the highest. Delicious Pacifico on tap. Mazatlan was in sight. Minnesota lake culture high end.

We stopped while taking a walk along the shore. We sat on the patio and had some fries and drinks. Was really nice to just sit and hang out for a bit. Their fries are tasty. Service was good and friendly. We’ll be back at some point for a more substantial meal.
