We stopped here while passing through town on our summer road trip. This is a cute little family restaurant. Our waitress, Alecia, was very friendly, sweet, and attentive. The food was very good and satisfying. We love stopping at and supporting small private businesses. We had the French Toast Special with sausage links, bacon egg and cheese on a bagel, and a slice of coconut cream pie

Stopped here on our trip back to MN. Nice, quaint little sit down spot. Breakfast was great and done just right. Server was nice and welcoming. A lot of homemade treats as well! Would love stop back when in town again.

I talked with the owner and she was pleasant and genuine. It is small, but that’s all they need for just breakfast and lunch service in a smaller town. I had to do a la carte to get the breakfast that I wanted and that was no problem. They accidentally served me bacon, after telling them that I do not eat meat, but she quickly exchanged the plate and made it right. I took home pie and look forward to trying each one! Thank you 🙂

First time eating here, and it did not disappoint. Food was excellent, service was superb, and the atmosphere was charming and very cozy. The young ladies working were really on their game and had great attitudes. I will definitely be back!

Do not worry. I am an expert
Had never heard of the Bluebird until looking for a place while passing through Clintonville. Our family had a variety of omelets, all of which were very good in prep and portion. Waitress was very attentive and beyond friendly. I noted immediately that the maple syrup on our table *was pure maple syrup*, something one doesn’t always see. If you take the time to stop in, you will not be disappointed. Great coffee, too!

The Bluebird is a mainstay in this small town. Breakfast is enjoyable because I leave satisfied with the eggs, bacon, sausage, and toast. We always get the tasty coffee and the cinnamon roll pancakes are a favorite too. Great homemade pies and French fries are featured as well. We like the care that goes into the burgers. The Farmer Ed Burger includes a fried egg, cheesy hashbrowns, and bacon! They often pass out delectable free cookies during your visit. That’s good enough for me. “C” is for cookie, after all…

Great little cafe in a small town. Came through on a trip, decided to have an omlett and coffee. I recommend them both! Fantastic staff as well.
