This is never a bad place to go to have a decent meal. Its just never a great place either.

The food is alright at best. The waitress/waiter had very poor service. They are slow and inattentive. When we ordered a fiesta platter, the quesadillas were completely omitted and took half an hour to hit the table, which would have been fine if the good arrived hot. Sometimes they are very good, but it’s few and far in between. Very unfortunate because I usually have a positive experience at other Acapulco’s.

I come here every so often. The food is always tasty, fresh, and comes out pretty quick. It is simple, fairly priced Mexican food, yet very enjoyable. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I recommended the Chile con Queso, the Bacon Shrimp Tacos and any of the enchiladas. Their chips and salsa are also really good.

This restaurant is excellent. Everything about it is amazing. It has a lively atmosphere with three main seating rooms (2 of them are small but quiet, the other one is large and has a bar with a lot of tvs). At first when we saw how cheap it was, we didn’t think it would be very high quality food. We were mistaken. The food is excellent, I love the bean and cheese burrito, and the chips and salsa are a fun and tasty substitute over bread and butter. The service is EXTREMELY FAST and the waiters/waitresses were pretty nice. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone around.

I’m from Texas so I was skeptical of what a Mexican restaurant in New England would be like. This place impressed me. Like one of my friends mentioned, it “smelled like a Mexican restaurant should,” they gave free chips and salsa (most don’t in New England,) and they had the right kind of stuff on the menu. I had the enchiladas which were pretty good. It wasn’t quite like the Tex-Mex food I was craving, but PRETTY DARN CLOSE.

This place was terrible. Walked in their main entrance a to find an empty reception stand, waited for about 5 minutes before I walked towards the back of the restaurant to try and grab someones attention.Once we were finally seated we met the waiter, he was nice, I ordered a steak, chicken and shrimp plate. The chicken was edible, the steak tasted like they placed unseasoned meat on the grill and served it to you.The shrimp were edible because they seasoned them with whatever they used on the chicken. Guacamole was gross, didn’t even taste like avocados. Waited so long, I had to keep calling the hostess who sat us down over to get us food, drinks, etc. because our waiter would not show up. I would not recommend this place, definitely one of worst Mexican places I’ve been to yet. I experienced much of the same issues pointed out in these other reviews.

The food choices and quality are excellent. Prices are reasonable. It was a pleasant surprise when this place opened up and it’s now one of our staple venues to go with the kids. There are a couple wait staff that are a bit sub par with regards to checking in on you, but most are fine and all are very friendly.

I always like Acapulcos. It’s close to the authentic Mexican I grew up with in New Mexico; not everything is slathered in cheese, for example. Clean flavors and good seasoning (though could stand a little mores salt). Good service. Could stand to update the restaurant a little, but I’d definitely recommend.

This was surprisingly good Mexican food. I am from Texas and have spent my entire life eating authentic Mexican food as well as Tex-Mex. I was pleased with my experience here. The beans were great. I wish they sold tamales by the dozen.
