Welcome back! I missed you!! always one of my favorite culinary experiences in Richmond. It’s so sad to see them go. Well they are back and with a lot of improvements on the menu. Highly recommend coming to the new and improved Acacia. I had fried oysters, baked oysters, and the rockfish. And of course the crabcake, which is even more improved, which I don’t know how it’s possible. Can’t wait to go back.

We had a lovely evening celebrating a birthday. Delicious food, welcoming ambience and impeccable service – Acacia has come back with a vengeance! Cheers to your beautiful new space and the future meals we will have with you!

Outstanding meal experience shared by all four in our group. The Soft Crabs were incredible! Service could have been a little bit better, as the trainee that evening left a little to be desired. Overall though, a much better than average experience across the board. Count us in as repeat customers.

Brand new Libbie Mill occupancy, although the restaurant has a following. There is plenty of parking. Reservations recommended. Coat storage in the front of the restaurant. Gender neutral bathrooms that include shared vanities with separate stalls.

The waitress was very helpful in answering questions about the food. She was friendly and professional. The food tasted good. The crab cake burger was delicious. Although they cook the food to order, it does take some time for it to come to the table.

Disappointed. Food mediocre, poor service w/ forced 18% gratuity. I was a loyal patron from their two other locations; food, service, ambiance was exceptional. This location disappoints on all three points… not to mention the napkins that feel like dry baby wipes. Do yourself a favor and just go to Shagbark.

I had heard good things about the previous location and noticed it was making a return to Richmond. I made a dinner reservation on a Saturday evening, which helps as they tend to be busier around then. Our table was a bit too close to the others for the amount of space they have, so felt a bit awkward. I got the scallops and my partner got the rockfish. Scallops were good but nothing to write home about. The rockfish was mostly tasteless, pretty disappointing dish for the price. Drinks were fine and service was decent. Not bad but an underwhelming experience.

The space is very attractive and, although all the surfaces are hard, it’s not terribly noisy. We sat at the bar and ordered a couple of small plates. I ordered the beet and goat cheese salad. Interestingly enough, whoever had made the salad had put the beets and goat cheese on the bottom and dumped all the greens on top. The beets tasted canned and I found only three goat cheese crumbles. It was extremely disappointing. Edible but only just. The bartender was excellent. The wine list is uninspiring with a generic selection of by the glass options. Overall, I was extremely disappointed. I’d had dinner at Acacia the night they closed the old location. It was fantastic. I’m doubtful I’ll try the new space again.

Entrees were good (crab cake was good size with crab chunks and scallops were good but not many) Service was bad (had to repeated our order multiple times to the server and when the food came it was wrong for both my wife and I, no manger check up bc of messed up order, didn’t clean up dirty dishes on the table while everyone stood around, hostess was not friendly). Forced a 18% gratuity even with bad service. crispy duck wings were over cooked. I ordered a local beer and it was warm. The new atmosphere is a lot better than the previous place and looks great. Overall disappointed for the price and fine dining experience. Also it was for a birthday dinner with friends. I was going to recommend to friends but probably won’t.

It looked cute but the food was truly bland. The restaurant wouldn’t let us order appetizers without putting in our entire order; the food was blah; the drinks were fine. Would not recommend
