Yellow cheese sauce. Tastes like water. Taco Bell-like beef, but without flavor. I ordered a taco salad and it had a watery, greasy liquid in the bottom of the taco bowl and hardly any lettuce compared to the amount of meat. Staff is very friendly and courteous, but that can’t save it from their horrible food. They have a huge following in Shawnee because they’ve been around for a long time, but I’ve been there 3 times hoping for it to be better, and was disappointed each time. The food quality is better at McDonald’s.

This restaurant is our favorite place to enjoy a Mexican shrimp cocktail. It is served in a cold glass beer type mug. Loaded with cold shrimp, fresh avocado, pico. Very good. The food menu is good. We rarely eat anything but the cocktail. Highly recommend this cocktail.

Sorry for the plate pic. That is what’s left of the spicy pork #75. Pretty good food here and the “special salsa” is pretty tasty! Everyone at the table enjoyed the food. Not very impressive from the outside, but food is the true test of a restaurant! Worth a try!

Worst Mexican food I have ever had! Queso was out of a can with the strangest consistency and zero taste. I thought that was bad but then the entrees came out. Refried beans were the nasties thing ever. The chicken was out of a can and dried out. No onions or greens peppers in my fajita nachos at all. My husband took one bite of his chimichanga and declared it inedible. I want to note that we are not picky eaters at all. I don’t understand how this restaurant has anything over 1 star.
