Abe Capanna’s is one of three food trucks located behind Crosscut. It took us a couple of trips through the Speinghill parking lot before we finally found it but in the end were very pleased. We love Detroit style pizza for the thick crust and we’re very happy to find it all the way out in Bend.

Call it Detroit, Sicilian, Thick Crust, Deep Dish, what ever… I call it Delicious! Chewy and crunchy crust, zesty sauce, lots of thick cheese with a nice pull, toppings galore. The Janimal had half a hog on it. Next time I’ll go for The Max. The small (4 slices) is plenty for two people, especially if you are drinking beer.

This is literally one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Tasty sauce, yummy crispy corners. An absolute must try if you are coming to Bend. You can also grab a beer right next store at the Crosscut Tap House while you wait.

Honestly, this is some of the best pizza in Bend. My wife and I have been eating it for the last couple years and love supporting them/local businesses. However, the young kids that work there, and their service is awful. The rude tone, eye rolls and the feeling of inconvenience they give you really puts a damper on the experience. Other than that, best pan in Bend.

Had this Pizza it was great, spoke to Ciara or Sierra not sure how it was spelled. The red headed gal she was amazingly sweet and very helpful. She made my experience great and gave great suggestions for the pizzas as I ordered them. Would recommend to more people.

This place is great! It’s Detroit style and done right. Good balance of the meat cheese and sauce. Second time there and I will be back. The only thing is I would recommend smaller pizza rather than the large. It tends to get a little messy and wet for bigger pizza and the center pieces can lose the bottom crunch.
