We take great pride in slow smoking the highest quality cuts of meat in our custom-made Moberg Smokers, using only wood to ensure a great smoke. We are the only BBQ restaurant in Jacksonville to solely use prime graded brisket which is the top 2% of all briskets in the US. Our House Made Sausage, Smoked Turkey and Pork Shoulders also come from the highest graded cuts of meat. Good food, good service. Plenty of outdoor seating, along with cornhole. Ordered the Sunday special brisket meatloaf sandwich with sweet potato fries. The fries were excellent. With sandwich, it was good but I guess I was expecting something with taste and texture a bit less like meatloaf. Friend had the 1-meat plate with brisket, and enjoyed the brisket but was underwhelmed with portion size for $17.

We ordered just about everything! All the flavors were great! Brisket was moist and flavorful, chicken was also, pork ribs were good but better with sauce, turkey was very good and moist, the sausage had good flavor however we are not fans of the texture of homemade sausage and lastly the beef rib had good flavor but was overcooked and mushy. We also got almost all the side dishes. Collard greens were good but on the sweet side. Same with the cowboy beans. Macaroni was ok, potatoe casserole was similar to cracker barrels and Brussel sprouts were great as well. Potatoe salad was good and had onions which I liked…hubby not so much but the coleslaw!!! Very good! We also enjoyed the house made pickles that came on every plate. We also got the deviled eggs which were good but not anything special in my opinion. Our server Briana was so friendly and warm and was very attentive to all of our needs. Needless to say we have lots of leftovers for the next few days. This is definitely worth a try!

been wanting to dine here since opening. I finally came in and was excited. The di ing room is big and open with a view of the kitchen. The bar is very large with seating inside and out. Tons of outdoor seating. We had the burnt ends and pimento cheese stuffed Jalapeños wrapped in bacon. The burnt ends were very salty but could taste the smoke. I alerted our server to the saltiness of the burnt ends. And she said because it’s tossed in the rub and put back in oven. I will ask for no extra rub next time. The smoked stuffed Jalapeños were outstanding I wanted another plate. Ordered the 2 meat plate which came with 2 sides. I got Brisket and Jalapeño sausage which is made in house. The Brisket was so moist and a generous portion. Got the Mac and Cheese and Collard Greens. collards were sweet with alot of bacon flavor. Unfortunately there is a creeping spiciness that made it unable for me to finish. Overall our service was on point and attentive. The ambience was comfortable. Other than a few complaints on preparation the food was outstanding. Definitely will be coming back.

Haven’t had a chance to go to the restaurant, but had some food catered. Food was amazing! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! Their mac and cheese was the highlight. Their shredded pork was also very good and perfectly cooked. Definitely planning to visit the restaurant to see if their service matches the great tasting food!

This was my first time eating at ABBQ and i was impressed. The customer service was excellent! All the employees were attentive, nice, and made me feel like i was eating dinner with family. They were super busy but i was seated immediately and my waitress quickly took my order and even had great recommendations. She even let my daughter sample some of the sides to find out what shed best like since she’s a picky 7 year old lol. I decided on the special they had going on, the prime rib. It was amazing and they even brought me all different kinds of sauces to try out. But to be honest i don’t think it even needed sauces it was so well cooked. If you want some great BBQ food i definitely recommend eating here plus after you eat you can go walk it off on the beach lol oh and the restrooms were CLEAN and adorable!

Food: Everything was just average or below average for a bbq place. The sauces weren’t great. The brisket was sort of good one bite then very tough and unbeatable a couple other bites. The pulled pork was dry and stringy. Lacked any sort of good smoked flavor. Note: It was the first day for brunch and there was an avocado toast that my wife liked.
