This was my first time here and I had the spicy fried chicken sandwich. The chicken was of great quality and the breading and seasoning was good, but the spicy sauce was the star of the show. I’m sure there are other great things on the menu, but the fried chicken sandwich was phenomenal. Do yourself a favor and stop by Abang Yoli.

We went to The Market to experience the hype of these canteen-style food markets on a Saturday afternoon. The vibe was great, people seemed to enjoy pouring overpriced alcohol from the station. Always a good sign that the place won’t close up shop too soon.

Cashier was really friendly and helpful! it was our first time and we’ll definitely come back. My husband and I both got the chicken sandwich and said it was the best chicken sandwich we’ve ever had.

Abang Yoli has the crispiest, juiciest most flavorful fried chicken of any place I have tried in the Twin Cities. Alone or on the burger, it comes with two sauce options (both are fantastic) and I wouldn’t skimp on the fries either. Topped with cilantro, jalapeño and scallions, they are perfectly crisp and salty. The Asian Mayo complement them nicely as well. The bao buns and ssam dishes are also delicious and everything is well priced. I go to the Nicollet location beside Five Watt. The service is fantastic.

I have tried the Vegan Laksa on three occasions. The first time it was great. The second time it didn’t taste the same, but I chalked it up to a different chef making it. The third time it was the same chef as the first but it was much saltier and he didn’t add as many vegetables. I wouldn’t recommend the dish due to the inconsistency. I have also tried the chargrilled chicken sandwich. I think it would’ve been much better fried. It was oddly bland chargrilled. I probably won’t explore the rest of the menu, but it is a new restaurant so I would recommend checking it out in case it suits your taste!

Got the Chicken Ssam for dinner per the cashiers suggestion. The chicken was good and the sauce helped a lot. I will have to try the chicken sandwich and wings in the future. My only knock on the plate was the portion size felt small and I wish there was rice included.

I don’t understand the bad reviews and I’m going to just assume they are haters who had bad days. I have had most items off their menu and it has always been exceptional. I love the bao, the fried chicken is much like any other Korean friend chicken I’ve had, and the char sui pork is delightful! The portions aren’t that big but I am full from an entree (or get a yummy side if you’re really hungry), but I do not expect giant servings that are so common in the US. And they have a few vegetarian and vegan options. Ignore the bad reviews and try it yourself. There is also a Nicollet Ave location where the food has been just as great!

Wooowww this fried chicken is so tender, juicy, crunchy, and comes with delicious sauce and is just so beautiful to look at. The Asian fries are super yum too if you like seaweed flavor. Yum yum yum.

Surprised this place doesn’t have their own brick and mortar place because it’s super good! The fried chicken is some of the crispiest chicken I’ve ever had, and it’s a great value too.
