This is a very small restaurant and if you have a party of 4 are More it’s best to make reservations at this place bcall they don’t have much seating at this place but they food is great it’s ALOT price but it’s worth it

Came into to an empty restaurant which is a plus for me. I intended to order a 25 dollar meal but had to pay 32 instead. I was a bit disappointed with the price until I started eating my shawarma and chicken kabob. It sent me to the main reason I love different kinds of food. I def recommend this place. A meal you can eat twice after purchasing once is a Win in my book.

I ordered Grubhub from Aban as I was looking for something different here in Carbondale. Well, let me share that this food did not disappoint! I got a chicken stew and It was savory and delicious! The bread they give you appears to be freshly out of the oven. The chicken meat fell off the bone and the portions were quite large. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely order from Aban kitchen again!

First time at this restaurant, I graduated few years ago from SIU and I was visiting Carbondale to meet my friends. So I trie this new place (new to me :)) and I love it. The food was super delicious, I ordered Haneez Lamb, think about know makes me wanna go back. You must drink their special aromatic back tea.

We have been enjoying Aban’s for over two years. Food is excellent! In our opinion, one of the few good places to eat in Carbondale. Service is very friendly!! Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food you receive. We have food from Aban’s at least twice a week!! I’m very appreciative of Jamal’s hard work in the kitchen and his son, Abdul’s friendly smile and work ethic!!

Excellent cuisine reminiscent of more commonly found Indian food. You will truly feel like they are welcoming into their home. As challenging as it may seem to make a menu selection it really doesn’t matter because all of the offerings are wonderfully delicious!
