Good Indian buffet at a pretty decent price. Staff a little inattentive, but a buffet doesn’t need a particularly interactive staff either.

I was really excited to try this place and I went with my aunt. Maybe we came in on a bad day but the food from the buffet was gross and picked over. The chicken was super dry and they only had a little of the things I even somewhat enjoyed. The worst was the service. We sat down and were ignored and when someone finally did come to the table he actually scoffed at us for waiting to tell him we wanted the buffet and didn’t ask us if we wanted something other than water to drink. That was the only time anyone came to the table. When we got up to pay, the waiter looked at us and disappeared into the back for about 5 minutes before returning. At this time I looked around at the other customers who were all men and noticed they all had drinks. I am really not sure why they seemed to be so offended by our presence and my aunt who had been there several times never had a problem before. I can only guess that you will only get service if you come in with a man. Don’t do ladies lunches at this restaurant.

The worst experience. I repeatedly asked to make the food spicy, gravy was like boiled heavy cream. This is the only Indian place in the area they are taking full advantage of it by serving nasty food. They are even not ready to listen if the food is bad. I have had excellent food cooked by Punjabi people but certainly they are a big disappointment. I understand bad service which is very common at lot of Indian restaurants but atlases deliver what you charge for the Good Food. It can happen once or twice a person can have bad experience but this is every time. Few months ago the other Indian restaurant opened even though the guy could not understand English properly he was humble and delivered excellent food and atleast heard about the food and improved. Indian cuisine is famous for a reason. Learn something and improve.

Just want to say that my mom and dad has been coming here for years and love this place. As for myself, I’ve been here a few times and the food is really good and the service is great. This business has been owned by the same family for years and years and they have always treated everyone in a friendly professional way. The restaurant is always clean and the prices are very reasonable, and portions are very generous. This place is also wheelchair accessible. Best Indian Restaurant in town by far.

So so good. I get take out from here all the time. Perfect for vegans/vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. This is my favorite restaurant in town, and I believe the only Indian food in town. They are always really nice and polite. The wait times can very. Their bread is amazing. They have “American” fare options as well if you bring along a picky eater.

I’ve never really been disappointed when I’ve come here. I usually get the buffet. I wish it was spicier but I’m sure they just make the buffet that way so everyone can eat it. Next time I’ll try ordering from the menu and seeing how much spicier it is. Also it’s not a large buffet by any means and is kind of expensive for being a buffet, $12.50.

I would give this 1.5 stars if I could… It was not the worst place I have ever eaten, but it was close. The food was nasty, although admittedly I got it off the buffet. The service was not very good, but that is kinda a battle creek thing. However the real thing that was the turn off for me was how dirty the kitchen was in the back.

This is an Indian restaurant so they go by the typical dining times as they do in India. You could always call or look up the time. I dont think they should get a bad review for that. Their food is very tasty. Their service could be better with them refilling your water or asking you if you would live any beverages, however their staff are friendly. Try it out.

Spoiled Chicken was served. When reported to the staff, he did not agree to it saying everything we serve is fresh. He quoted “I dont know why Indian always find issue in our food. Only Indians will have problem”. Verbal fight continued but staff members never apologized for this or accepted it.

Man I’m glad we did not go by the negative reviews for this place and we just went out and tried it. The owner was exceedingly polite and the food was absolutely amazing and very authentic. I have eaten international cuisine in several big cities and this place easily compares to the big city restaurants. Whoever is dissatisfied with this restaurant is either impossible to please or ignorant to what Indian food is supposed to taste like. Big fat thumbs up to this amazing local gem that we are lucky enough to have in Battle Creek!
