There’s nothing impressive about the location, BUT don’t let that deter you. I ordered a veggie plate online. I arrived at the restaurant a few minutes after the estimated pickup time. The food was not ready (understandable). When I inquired about how long it might be, the cashier was very snappy/defensive. Her customer service was terrible. She was very rude to the other guests waiting for their call-ahead orders. When taking a phone order, in response to what I assume was a customer’s request to repeat the side options, she said “I went through them fast because I’m busy and don’t have a lot of time” as she pantomimed the “hurry up” gesture. It took 50 minutes to get my food (again, a vegetable plate), and no one seemed apologetic about the wait. HOWEVER, the food was AMAZING! Everything I ate (greens, green beans, fried squash, corn on the cob) was delicious enough for me to try them a second time, in hopes that it’ll be a much better experience.

Based on recommendations from neighbors had to try the food and it is fried deliciousness! Clean and friendly environment, cooked to order. Had pork chops, chicken livers, fried squash, fried okra, hush puppies, Mac and cheese and green beans. Solid comfort food and will visit again.

Edit:in response to your response, that’s cool you go on vacation. Maybe a sign on the door? Your policy as you states was still not followed. It was done early. And I’ve shown up multiple times and it has been closed early. Get snippy and defend all you want. I love your food and your workers, but there is not enough consistency for me to keep coming. And to the attitude of your response, probably won’t give it a try again. No apology, no follow up to specific concerns, or a simple explanation. Just going to be rude. Thank you but no thank you. Enjoy the business you have. I know y’all don’t care at all about me. I’m just one opinion. But the fact that there is no follow up and just rudeness shows me I was wrong about ownership there.

Worst dining experience we have ever had. Servers had no idea what the were doing (literally kids) went for pork chops they were out so I ordered whole catfish with greens and beans and an order of livers she ordered the sausage plate. Received what appeared to be swai filets, cold pinto beans, asked for tarter sauce received one tarter one ranch, her sausage was cold, livers never came and waitresses avoided us until my girlfriend said can we please just leave this is the worst place we have ever been to.

The floors were so sticky and unclean if you were to walk bearfoot int this place your feet would get stuck to the floors. The grilled cheese sandwich took 50 minutes to receive and was a WET GRILLED CHEESE. Rude short and oblivious customer service. Truly disappointing.
