A wonderful little treasure. The food is great and the staff is very friendly. Our orders were prepared as we asked and the food was very good. Lindsey, our server was very personable and a pleasure to talk with. Overall a great experience. We would recommend A Place To Eat.

Had breakfast here this morning. Everything was very good. I had eggs, over easy with bacon, home fries and coffee. I also tried their homemade bread. It was the highlight of the meal. I also got eggs and bacon for my puppy. She agrees it was first class! To bad I live 2 hrs away, I’d be there very regularly if I was closer.

This was my first food in Maine after crossing the Canadian border, and it was great. I had a BLT, which was one of the best BLTs I’ve had, hands down. I’m thankful for missing that exit, because this is way better than any fast food. Although I only stayed there for a moment, it was oddly cozy. Plus, the name, “A Place to Eat” is wonderfully humorous! If I ever go to northern Maine again, I’ll go here.

The food was ok, I had grilled haddock which was not bad and mashed potatoes. The customer service was very good! Loved the vibe of the place!

Great simple place to stop for breakfast or lunch. Went about a year and a half ago, and just remembered it when visiting the state again. Staff is very friendly and this is a great place to stop.

After always wondering about “A Place to Eat,” we finally stopped and grabbed a snack on one of our adventures. As you can see, Skye certainly enjoyed her vanilla ice cream! I had a hot fudge sundae that was pretty good, even though they seem to use chocolate syrup as opposed to hot fudge. It was a nice treat on a hot day. 🙂

This restaurant is not only fast, delicious, and full of friendly staff, but also incredibly warm and charming! We had a great breakfast while our two children were busy enjoying the holiday decorations that were in every nook and corner. I’d definitely recommend A Place To Eat to anyone who is looking for a great meal with an inviting atmosphere!

SO-good home cooked food. The BEST onion rings and fries. I complimented our server and he said it’s because we’re always changing our cooking oil! NO greasy taste! Hope to get back soon.

The waiter tried but wasn’t attentive until he realized he forgot about us for more than 20 mins before he came back to get our order. The food was ok. Small place.
