Food wasn’t that good. Ordered 2 beef sandwiches w fries and 1 Turkey sandwich with fries on June 11th around 2pm. Will definitely not come back. Brisket and turkey were both dry. Brisket was burnt around the edges. Definitely not worth the price. Online they advertise a sandwich and fries for $12 but their in-store menu had it for almost $15. The ordering process was simple and the employees were polite. Good customer service. The sauce taste good and they gave me a lot which I appreciate. The fries tasted pretty good, but not good enough to want to go back. I did not get a picture of the turkey; but picture Thanksgiving turkey.. not sliced barbecue turkey. It wasn’t the worse food but I’m shocked to see so many five star reviews. I’m starting to think people don’t even eat the food before they type a review. For the price I paid, I was highly disappointed.

My wife and my 4 year old came here because we had a gift certificate to use. I was not expecting such great food and atmosphere. Our waitress was so knowledgeable, kind, and wonderful. We will definitely be coming back here again in the future. This is one of my favorite BBQ joints for sure. I got the special Torpedo sandwich. It had 3 different types of meats on it and was cut thick (which I really like). I also had fries and their baked beans. It was a great meal for a great price. Fully satisfied!

I walked in late on a Saturday afternoon to find this, the 350th ‘cue stop on a 35 state swing, moderately busy. An appetizer of bacon chips, a tray of burnt ends with sides of cheesy corn and french fries, and a refillable soft drink (Coke products) came to $36.23 plus tip. Portions were large enough to warrant the price. Both sides had good flavor, but it is telling that the fries were less salty than the meat. Maple syrup did not overwhelm the bacon, but this served only to emphasize its saltiness. I discarded the burnt ends after a few bites heavily doused with one of the three sauces on the table, but this could not conceal the extreme saltiness of the meat. Given the time of day and the seasoning, it is not surprising that the cubes were so dry and tough that I was tempted to ask for a steak knife (see the photos). Individuals on a salt restricted diet should tread warily here.

Food here is trash whoever cooked these burnt ends needs to get fired. Dry af, and super salty, no love in their craft you can taste it. Burnt end tasted like death. Paid $25 for a plate of regret. Server was very nice tho but the food so asss… did they marinate the meat in sea water?? Wth does it taste so fkn salty??

Ok, not great. We were here 2 years ago and came back bcuz it was so good before. . Ordered a full rack. It came out luke warm, lacked smoke flavor and was under cooked. Very disappointing. Place was super busy around 1:00 and the sandwiches looked amazing so obviously they have good food. I think we just caught them on a bad day for ribs.

This place is so good! I wish I could remember to take a picture before I devour but well yum-yum. The place is so neat with all of the nostalgic hangings and decorations. I don’t know who the owner is, but I’d like to congratulate him or her because they put a lot of thought into decorating the place. The atmosphere was great the staff was awesome. Had to grab some KC bbq while in town. After a long day of museum visit this place hit the spot! Exactly what I was hoping for. Portions were big food was tasty! Only reason I did not give them a 5 for food was the sausage was a little dry for my taste… but it is to be expected with smoked sausage. So I am not mad at all! Bonus was the service! Super friendly and our food came out fast. Thank you for an awesome experience!!! P.s. my mom loved the pea salad!!!
