Hands down the best Steak Frites I’ve ever had. I’m picky about my steak and it was prepared perfectly. The specials looked great, portions are generous, but not onerous. The seared scallops special appetizer and French onion soup were fantastic, and the various pate and charcuterie trays looked amazing. Great, laid-back atmosphere, with excellent, attentive, friendly service. A friend and I stopped in on a whim, and now we are definitely coming back, and bringing friends!

Delightful. An evening affair. Not an empty seat in the house so recommend reservations. Beautifully decorated. The scallop appetizer was topped with the perfect sauce. The quail was stuffed with delicious mushrooms and chestnuts and cooked to perfection. The music was a wonderful back drop to a festive evening with friends. Plenty of parking in the back. The service was exceptional and timely. Would be a perfect venue for a company lunch-dinner. Would love to see a breakfast added as an alternative local choice.

I am vegan and they have a delicious beet salad. They also have ratatouille and other salads. I ate something before I arrived knowing they are a traditional French restaurant, so I wouldn’t suffer. It is beautifully decorated, service is close to excellent–The back server served my husband before me. (As a former server myself, I know the ladies and children are supposed to be served before the gents.)

OMG, this place was outstanding. The service was perfect, and the food was even better. The staff was helpful, attentive and friendly without being intrusive. We loved the escargot, European bread, salmon and a huge, wonderful bouillabaisse seafood dish. The dessert menu was a bit disappointing as a French restaurant, but our cheesecake selection was wonderful. We’ll be back anytime we’re in the area!

The brisket sandwich at lunch time was greasy. It’s very dark and gloomy inside. They have outdoor seating but service was terrible out there. Waited close to two hrs for our dinner and by that time, no one really was in the mood to eat, it just got to late. We did get a complimentary bottle of wine for the table because of the wait and mix up in our orders. Won’t go back, food just isn’t exciting.

Delicious, authentic, creative menu, lovely service in a very appealing space. Dinner was superb until we were driven out by painfully loud live music. The music itself was appropriate–if only it had been soft and intimate rather than eardrum-bursting.

My husband and I walked in on a slow Saturday around 7:30 PM in August. We were hoping to find a spot for a quality evening coffee. The restaurant has a separate seating area/coffee bar for just that. At the time we walked in, it was empty – not one person was seated there. The rest of the restaurant wasn’t that full either. Despite not being busy when we indicated we wanted to sit at the coffee bar for just a coffee we were told that a minimum charge is required. While I can kind of understand this because it was a Saturday night, at the same time, considering that they weren’t that busy I found it to be quite dismissive and poor customer service, to say the least.

The rating is low because the service here has always been spotty, but the last time I went it became ludicrous. We waited over a half an hour between soup and our salad, and when the salad came it was completely mis-prepared. It was supposed to have warm cheese that was refrigerator cold. The menu has also become very thin at lunch with few choices. It has fallen off a lot over the past couple of years.

Somewhat pricey, but the portion sizes are very fair and will guarantee you don’t leave hungry. The bread they gave was good. There was a nuttier bread that I thought was too dry at first, but then realized it left such a wonderful aftertaste and that I had not yet understood its amazing understated flavor. The seafood Boulleboulaise (forget the spelling) was good. The seafood broth was not at all salty. The grilled shrimp was also decent, with very yummy tomatoes and cannoli beans (is that the right word?). (Seriously, the tomatoes were amazingly flavorful.) The stunner was the special dessert that day, a wonderful, refreshing mixed berry tart with raspberry mousse and a dollop of vanilla ice cream. Any negatives? I was a bit disappointed that when I pointed out that one of the clams in the seafood broth did not open, I did not receive anything special or get a discount, though the server did say sorry. Overall, a more than decent dinner, and I don’t feel like I really overpaid. The quality was certainly there. The wait time was also reasonable. Do make a reservation if you want to go!

GREAT FOOD! We have eaten here many times in the past and the food has always been very good. Our last visit was about a month ago and the food was AMAZING! If you have not been here recently, you are missing a great meal.
