I have been coming here since I was 8 years old and now I come in whenever I am in town and I am 58. Angelo is the owner and he remembers everyone who has ever stepped foot in his door and he is now 97 and still here cooking. The food is amazing and the decor is the exact same that it was when I came in after grade school to eat. I put a picture here of how I looked when I started coming here and now with Angelo.

1st and last time here, where to start… ordered a 3 way NOPE out of spaghetti, changed to cheeseburger with fries and Cole slaw.. NOPE out of coleslaw ,wanted diet drink NOPE out of diet. Wife got dbl decker, absolutely the cheapest meat you could find with a bizarre aftertaste. I’m not leaving a good review because the owner is 97 yrs old I’m leaving this because just up the Block us a great diner that uses top of the line Ingredients (Brothertons) oh and also it’s cash only sign isn’t on door but on register once you’ve already Sar down so after this awful meal had to leave wife and kid there to find an ATM. To many red flags here , sorry he’s old but this was not good by any stretch . Make your food at home I’m sure it’s alot better.

So, me and my partner came in for breakfast this morning, 7/19/2023, we ordered our food, I got the cheese omelet, he got the ham and cheese omelet, both of us with home fries, I got an orange juice and he got a mountain dew, tell me why after taking about 4 sips he tells me, “ugh there’s a couple of black specs in my drink ” come to find out not ONE BUT TWO DEAD FLIES IN IT!!! LIKE TELL ME, JUST HOW YOU HAVE 2 DEAD FLIES IN A FOUNTAIN DRINK COMING OUT OF A MACHINE?? THAT, TO ME, IS A FORM OF NEGLIGENCE THAT OBVIOUSLY SOMEONE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR!! I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED BY THIS MORNING AND I WON’T BE BACK HERE, ESPECIALLY AFTER SEEING A FEW REVIEWS THAT WERE LESS THAN ENTHRALLING REGARDING SIMILAR TYPES OF SITUATIONS!! I CERTAINLY HOPE THIS FINDS YOU WELL!!

Nice little local place. Don’t be in a hurry if you go, and sometimes that’s ok.

I went for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised! This place is a hidden gem. My breakfast was excellent, reminded me of my Grandmother’s cooking! The service was great as well. Can’t wait to try something else on the menu!

A true hidden gem. This restaurant has been in business for 70 years. The owner who works it from 7am to 6pm is 96 years. Food is excellent and portions are large. They boast their chili and coleslaw. I had the cheeseburger deluxe platter and took some home.

Family owned and operated diner that has been around for 70 plus years. The owner is 95 and does all the cooking. The burgers and chili were amazing. Cheapest meal prices in Cincinnati. Our waitress was a kick.
