I find it interesting that people keep comparing the new woodshed to the original wood shed… Which burned down 10 years ago. I never ate at the original, but this one is absolutely beautiful and our food as well as our service (Deni was our waitress) were wonderful.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful birthday dinner celebration, and the service and attention from staff were phenomenal. We started with fantastic appetizers and drinks, then moved on to the main meal and ended with dessert. Everything was delicious!

The New Woodshed came very highly recommended to us and I was excited to be able to get a table for 5 in the pub on a Wed evening. Service was acceptable but the food was underwhelming at best. Baked potatoes were cold, steak tips were too rare and the prime rib was just ordinary, nothing special. Overall a very disappointing experience

My grandfather and uncle loved this place 40 years ago. Was in town and one of my sisters and a nephew decided to go celebrate my birthday. Embarrassed I did not take photos of food. We all enjoyed the skip and go naked drinks that we remember our family drinking before we were of age. Prime rib was delicious, ribeye was enjoyed, haddock was a hit, gazpacho was great, denver pudding delicious, only food related complaint would be if someone at table wants salad and an added protein would like that to be easy to order.

Staffs were friendly. I ordered scallions salad $9 + $16.99 for beef tip even though menu said scallions didn’t have anywhere on the plate same goes with dressing. Menu Description is different from what I got on my plate. Escargot was covered with melted cheese but Escargot was not even hot and no favor except cheap cheese that was on it.

The atmosphere was really nice as well as the staff. My family all enjoyed their food and drinks for the most part. My issue was that after informing the waiter I had a dairy allergy I was still unintentionally (I’m hoping ) served butter on my sautéed veggies. I didn’t realize this till abt 15 minutes after eating them . It was just very disappointing because i was very cautious and had chosen to only eat the entrée to try to minimize issues. My only complaint would be that food restricted meals need to be closer monitored. I’m glad I did not have a more severe reaction.

Was very delicious. Very cozy. Went here with family to celebrate parents 50th wedding anniversary. They were serving parties of six. Had Oysters Rockefeller for app and the beef tip pasta special. Delicious. Servers and staff very attentive and friendly. A really beautiful evening!

Another great meal with delicious Faroe Island salmon & fresh swordfish. Great cocktails (watermelon and blueberry sangaria, classic gin martini and a grape martini, whichwas a tad too sweet). This place is consistently good. No pub menu because they are short of staff, but main menu is always good

A beautiful atmosphere and even better service. I would come back just to have Amy as our waitress again! She was attentive, personable, friendly, and upbeat! You could tell she enjoys her job. A little confusion at first with a change in reservation times and attendees but the staff quickly adjusted the reservation and we forgot about the mishap moments later. Specials were great, and the food was quick. I didn’t order any cocktails so I can’t speak for those but the party I was with enjoyed their drinks and food. I and my group hope to come back again.
