Oh my goodness – this is a hidden gem. It’s an unassuming place, but the food will blow you away. The bean and cheese papusas are a MUST. They make the best cassava and plantains I’ve ever had. The meats are perfectly seasoned. Honestly, you can’t go wrong.

Friendly staff, great salsa, and Papusas! What more can you ask for?!? I’m visiting for work from SoCal where Papusas are serious business so, finding such good ones here in Omaha was a great treat!

After having lived in Central America for nearly 11 years, I will say these pupusas are obviously authentic. So delicious!

This place has the best pupusas and plantain chips! And I love their black beans and rice!

The pupusas are really good. The inside of the restaurant needs some upgrading, the walls where half painted and some of the lights were flickering.

The food was great, but they had one waitress for the whole restaurant. Poor girl was busy as heck, so she forgot some of our drinks and I felt bad for her. The facility also suffered because the tables were not cleared and the floors were sticky and under the tables had not been swept, visibly dirty.

For everyone who complains about the service, you’re obviously American. The food is amazing here, and I will be back. They have a little market at the front counter that sells some products. They make their own chocolate banana pops that are awsome!

If there were negative stars I would absolutely give them negative stars. When ordering food I asked what comes in their burrito and the server told me it was just meat and the tortilla I asked again to verify and she said yje rice and beans come in the side. I then was like ok great we want the burrito plain with just the meat inside. She said ok. When we got our order the burrito had rice and beans. We asked the server about the beans and she said “oh you didnt clarify with me that” so ok fine we let that go so we just asked if we can get a new one made she said yes but I will charge you. We said ok that’s fine. Then she came back and was like “oh I will have to use a bigger tortilla not the same size because that size only comes with that order” so we asked if they didnt have the tortillas she said we do but not without the combo. I could not believe what I was hearing. Then at the time to pay they charged us more food than we had she said its right then the price were different also and pointed to a sign that said “prices may vary ” that was hand written that said they can change prices. So bottom line awful service, would not be coming back. – date of experience is 9/27/22
