My partner and I are sushi snobs, we always try to find the best sushi places in all of the towns and cities we visit. This is now a staple for us when visiting Ithaca. Their rolls are large and really highlight the fish and other ingredients. The staff really made us feel special and I was so thankful for their kind attitude and service. Even the regular rolls were large and the specialty rolls were to die for. We can’t wait to come back and try their all you can eat option!

Super nice staff and the best sushi in Ithaca. I’ve tried a fair amount and this was by far some of the best sushi I’ve ever had (and I’m from NYC). I’ve had sushi along the same price range and they did not measure up in either taste or presentation. Would definitely come back again and I highly recommend !! And they gave us 10% off just because which was a surprise and very nice of them on our first visit !

Amazing food, good atmosphere. The waitress was kind enough to give my son a balloon hat. The teriyaki chicken was tasty, and the portion sizes were satisfactory. Would definitely come again. The restaurant is quiet and usually is not very busy, when my son and I went their, we were the only customers at the time. Staff were friendly and played attention to our needs.

Service was amazing. Matt the bartender and my waiter was 15/10. I highly recommend you go and hopefully you’re are as fortunate as I was and get him as your server. Also our chef was amazing but never was able to catch his name. First time there and would definitely go again.

Their lunch deal is really fantastic–salad, two rolls, and a huge helping of miso soup for $10. Their sushi isn’t super amazing quality but it is pretty good for Ithaca. I usually order ahead of time and pick up food but today I was passing by so I dropped in and ordered to-go, and the server gave me hot tea and talked to me while I waited for my order. This place deserves more business than it seems to get, I would recommend it if you live nearby .

Once you enter the beautiful building adorned with Asian artwork and ceramics, you’re greeted by a friendly table waiter. The hibachi is a fun show, average compared other similar restaurants. The food taste great though, and is cooked in front you! I’d return, but check other options first.

They served me old sushi! I ordered a shrimp tempura roll and the tempura was not freshly cooked. It was cold and hard and obviously old. I paid $10 dollars for that roll and was served old ingredients. Disgraceful and rude! The spicy tuna roll was obviously old and and pre-rolled. It tasted like refrigerator. For shame, Tokyo! I will never eat there again!

Very friendly staff, great ambiance and delicious food. Explained menu options well and were very accommodating with our toddler. It would be a great date place. The mood is upscale but not at all stuffy. Overall highly recommended.
