Ordered level 1.5 spicy mala and it came out nice. You pick your own stuff on a plate, they weigh it (albeit including the plate), and you pay by the pound. I got two types of noodles, tofu, mushroom, and pork on my plate. Level 1.5 is similar to spicy buldak ramen, so i wouldnt go hotter than that unless you really can handle spicy.

This restaurant is near H-Mart in Carrollton, so it is a good choice to dine in after grocery shopping.

The stir fried dish is better than the soup. I had this kind of soup at another place which is better.

Instruction is you go in, grab a bowl and tongs, and fill the bowl with whatever you want. Then they will weigh it, ask if you want meat, and how you’d like your food prepared.

Very good for spicy food lovers. It’s great that you can choose all ingredients by yourself and spicy levels.

Love this place. I’ve always done the stir fry option with either spice level 1 or 2. They charge by pound and you can add beef or lamb for extra charge, and is well worth!

Their food was very clean and delicious. All the employees were very nice and friendly. I would visit here again and would recommend to others! Mala was juicy and cooked perfectly and one of my favorite was fried pork. It was very chewy and tasted like a mochi. I don’t really know how they cooked but they knew what they were doing. The taste was 5 out of 5. I was surprised because their Chinese food was better than actual Chinese restaurant. I can tell they studied very well on making food!

Really good! I’m a bit of a ramen connoisseur and, while this wasn’t really ramen, it had a lot of similarities. It reminded me of a cross between regular Japanese Tonkotsu ramen but with the spiciness that you get from a lot of Korean soups and dishes. I don’t mind spicy food at all, and can handle the really spicy stuff. We originally asked for level 2 spice and the woman thankfully talked us down to level 1 because it was a bit on the spicy side.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. Malatang was pretty spicy, but it was the expected spiciness so I had no problem eating it. Overall, anyone who likes spicy food should totally go there and try some of their malatang (and other food on the menu)!!! The first photo is the malatang I ordered and the second one is called double cooked pork slices.
