First time dining at 808 Grinds Hawaiian. One key thing about Hawaiian food is the creamy mac and cheese and how moist their meat they serve.

Nice food, worth a try if you want to have simple meals. A great place for a small group gathering. We ordered from the “Special” menu on the board. Besides the pork belly that I tried, the Salmon Burger looked nice when I saw my friend eating 🙂

Bro. This place is the BOMB. My fancy salmon dish was soooo good. The dessert is good and the Hawaiian canned drinks are good. We spent about $40 for both of us (he had a curry bowl and a beer). Not bad ! Only thing that kinda left a bad taste in my mouth was one comment made .. maybe it was just the way it was said but still. We had ordered the bomb sauce (forgot what it was called but it has like spicy Mayo in it) on both of our plates, and the girl at the register was new. So when I asked for it the manager was like “oh I haven’t taught you that yet here I’ll do it for you” and inputted it. When my husband ordered it on his food, I guess she had forgotten how to add it or something – but regardless at the end when we already paid and we were headed out- she’s like “would you like any extra sauce” and my husband was like “just the bomb sauce” the other manager was like “that one costs money we don’t give it out for free , here is a list of the free ones” I’m like “I’m pretty sure we paid for it” and she replied, “nope I’m sure you didn’t”. We were made to feel like we were trying to pull a fast one. ‍♀️ You could tell they were in a bad mood, but it’s like – train your staff correctly, don’t assume people are here to steal from you- and most importantly BE NICE.

A hidden gem in Hillsboro. Checked them out while in the area and had the tuna/salmon poke. It was delicious! The staff was very kind and the outdoor sitting area is very comfortable. I definitely recommend and will return if I find myself around there again.

Fast service, perfect for take out, they do have a couple of tables for dining in. Loved the fries and cauliflower appetizer and noodles. Absolutely worth your money. P.S. if you take fried chicken which comes with rice, it all gets a bit dry since there’s no soup/gravy or such, but other than that ‘good food’.

Wow, I was super impressed with this place! Everything I ordered was delicious, down to the sauces. There was so much variety I already want to come back and try like five more things. The staff was super kind and fun and made the experience even better. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in this part of town, and wish there was one closer to me so I could frequent it more regularly!

WOW! This place is delicious! Very nicely kept little hidden gem next to the Hillsboro airport. Very small inside, order at the counter then find a spot outside. Has a good covered sitting area with shade from the sun or heaters in colder months. Don’t miss out on this amazing Hawaiian cuisine! 808 Grind is a don’t miss place to eat!

Really good place to stop for lunch. The pork carnitas and fried chicken were great along with the macaroni salad. Portion size was good for the price. Definitely would stop back here again. There is limited parking and mostly outdoor eating so need to take into consideration. Service was friendly.
