A cute little local breakfast/lunch spot in downtown Tampa. I enjoyed a bacon, egg and cheese Cubano and iced coffee. The sandwich was very well proportioned with bacon, egg and cheese in almost every bite! It looks small in the picture but it is b/c it is pressed like a panini. Spent about $13 w/tip. Would recommend

The food was freaking amazing and it seems like the entire menu is delicious. It was very hard to pick just one item. Plus it’s a great place to feed the whole family.

SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESS Delicious, fast, and friendly place! Great breakfast brought out piping hot, with super large portions. I loved the flavors a lot. Creamy, buttery, and super cheesy grits. Gigantic, and crispy pancakes. The sausage was so delicious. Definitely would come back for their wonderful breakfast. Prices are fantastic as well

Had the pleasure of grabbing lunch on Monday at Cafe Perera on N Morgan just off E Twiggs, about a block from the Courthouse (I was the lucky recipient of a jury duty summons ♀️). There was a decent line to order and many tables were taken but we grabbed a free table and I made my way up the line. Ordered a BLT because I assumed it would be fast and we had limited time. My sandwich was actually very flavorful, considering the basic nature of a BLT. Bread was fresh and toasted just enough, LOTS of bacon, fresh tomato that actually tasted like tomato, crisp lettuce. What more could I ask for? Staff was pleasant. Poor guy behind the cash register was dealing with a bit of a crisis because the register stopped functioning, he couldn’t even get the cash drawer to open to make change. He very graciously offered me my sandwich gratis since I had to wait a while to pay. I declined, he’s running a business, not a charity, but I appreciated the offer. Fortunately for him, he got it fixed and only one out of three took him up on the freebie. If I’m in that neighborhood again I’d definitely go back. Not haute cuisine, but a solid lunch option.

Visiting from England with my Girlfriend who is originally from Miami, we’re always looking for authentic Cuban food to enjoy. The empanada and Medianoche we had here were both perfect and the aromas from the other Cuban dishes were super tempting too, go and check it out!

1st time in and it was so delicious! Gives you that authentic homemade Cuban food comfort feeling. I had the Cafe con Leche and an Egg,Chorizo and Cheese on Cuban bread sandwich. The best! && prices are great. Definitely try it out if you love authentic Cuban food! As you can see I was digging into mine! The other half of Cuban bread from my sandwich is for dipping in my coffee!!! Staff was so sweet and helpful. Thank you!
