We stopped by in Duke’s Grill accidentally early morning. Surprisingly, they were opened! Thank God he brought us to this place!! It’s really nice place for breakfast. Very friendly and polite stuff, thanks them for the food and great service! The food was very tasty, fresh and superbly cooked. My girls liked their pancakes! We ordered a lot of food and paid for like two servings!! Definitely recommended this place!

I am amazed that it was so crowded, and yet food ca me way faster than I thought it was. I was floored that there was only one person at the grill, and he’s a burger making machine. The staff and their service were great. The food was extremely good, and the burgers’ patties are the size that burgers sound be. Thank you for giving my son and I a great experience, just the 2 of us without phone calls,no texts, and no distraction. Just a boy sitting down with dad, enjoying a great meal. The only surprise of the experience is when we went to put some salt on the fries. And man, does that salt shaker work well!

I have been hearing for years Dukes was amazing, and I finally got to try it the other day. It did not disappoint, it was one of the best burgers I have ever had. The staff was so friendly and you could just tell everyone was regulars. I love places like that. I will 100% be back!

Perfect place to come to get a real home cooked feel breakfast. Amazing environment, family oriented business. Everyone is extremely friendly and go above and beyond! We had 2 kids that had 2 spill accidents, and they were extremely patient and understanding. Recommend in every way, and look forward to visiting again soon.

You cannot go wrong with Duke’s, there is a reason this is George Motz has rated their Slaw Burger as his pick for best burger in NC. The service here is always fantastic. The burgers are always fresh and incredibly good. If you are within 100 miles of Monroe make sure you stop by Duke’s.

Burgers are so good! There’s no replicating the old griddle that imparts so much flavor. The onion rings are truly the best I’ve ever had. Our waitress was absolutely amazing as well. I see why this place is loved by the locals.

Slam dunk, knocked out of the park, gooooooaaaaal kind of burger spot. It’s been around longer than most of us, and it shows by the neighborhood vibes. The burgers, fries and union rings are flat out awesome. Super friendly staff and family owned. Give it a try. We were sold after one meal, we’ll be back continuously.

Dukes was GREAT!!! I can’t believe I just discovered this place but I will be back soon. The burgers are delicious and you can absolutely taste the freshness of the meat and toppings. I had a bacon double cheese burger and the MUST HAVE onion rings. The burger was TWO, thick patties, not only double cheese and the onion rings were enough for 2 people. I was a little surprised by the price but then I saw how much food it was and understood why.
