Nino’s Italian House is a true hidden gem that I’m thrilled to have found. Despite some negative reviews floating around, my personal experience has been nothing short of amazing. The unique atmosphere they offer, coupled with their delicious food and unbeatable prices, makes this place stand out.

Myself and two friends went to Nino’s Friday evening for dinner. We were very happy with the food and the service. Two of us had the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and the other meal was angel hair spaghetti with meat sauce. The portions were very generous and the prices were very reasonable. Oh and by the way the food was very good. We all agreed we would return.

Went out for date night with another couple and were pretty nervous when we read the negative reviews. We planned to just have a cocktail and then go elsewhere for dinner, but then we decided to stay and see for ourselves what the experience would be like.

If you’re seeking an unforgettable dining experience, one that leaves an indelible mark on your taste buds and memory, I implore you to steer far clear of Nino’s Italian House. In what can only be described as a culinary catastrophe, this establishment managed to take the art of Italian cuisine and reduce it to a pitiful mockery of itself. My recent visit to Nino’s was nothing short of a tasteless tragedy, leaving me utterly baffled by the audacity of labeling their concoctions as “food.”

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel like it’s important to be honest on here since the reviews were what led me to one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. I have zero complaints about the physical restaurant or servers, but the food was terrible. The salad was bland and poorly chopped, bread was old and chewy like a dry sponge, and the pasta dish I ordered was supposed to have “roasted veggies” and garlic. The veggies were steamed, pasta was over-cooked, and the dish was comparable to a frozen meal but with less flavor. I asked for warm marinara sauce to mix in to try to fix it and it came out with gritty pieces like sand in it, which I didn’t notice until I had mixed it in. Just horrible. To make matters worse, I took tiramisu to go and it’s like eating the foam from a couch with some cocoa dusted on top (see pictures attached). I absolutely hate being picky, but this meal was prepared completely carelessly and I wouldn’t want anyone else to have to pay for such a disappointing meal since there are other options nearby.

Drove 4 hours down for a lions game (disappointing enough), until we stopped at this restaurant excited for a nice Italian meal. Ordered fried calamari….was the texture of a rubber band slightly breaded in flour. Sent back barely eaten. We ordered the homeade fresh lasagna and my wife ordered rigatoni Marsala with chicken/mushroom. I had 15 layers of noodles (see picture with noodles torn apart) with no trace at all of filling and a bland sauce while her meal was a pile of noodles with a sour tasting sauce and 2 pieces of grey chicken and canned mushrooms. (Not an exaggeration). This was absolutely some of the lowest quality plating and lowest quality food we have ever had in our life. We ordered some takeout as well to take to our hotel which came with some potato soup that reminded us of flavorless tapioca pudding. The waitress was pretty slow but super nice and she comped our main meals because we had them tore apart and disgusted but being I never complain about food no matter the quality because I myself am a chef at a restaurant and know some places just skimp and I deal with it but this was a whole new level so we decided to pay the takeout and calamari. This place has the perfect atmosphere but my god they need someone with a couple brain cells. Go down the road to the gas station and enjoy better quality food. 1 star for the nice waitress. P.S the great reviews are from people that are obviously high.

To start off it’s really hard to see the restaurant with all the trees hiding it and then the air wasn’t running on a hot 88 degrees day and then the tv’s weren’t on it felt like they were just opening or closing. The service was good but I was served an extra which is an up charge and then to top it off the bug zapper hanging in the bar area took the cake it felt like they were penny pinching cause of the lack of customers. This restaurant has potential but this place won’t succeed with the way it’s running. Even with a decent menu which don’t get me started on that . I won’t be back anytime soon.
