This cafe is in a really small town. We had made a day trip to go see waterfalls in Tennessee from Huntsville and we were hungry on the way. This place had a good rating so we stopped by. We showed up 5 minutes before they opened but they still let us go in and sit down. The ladies who worked there were extremely nice. The restaurant has all different kinds of dinner tables. You’ll most likely see a style someone in your family has had. I really liked the unique decorations and layout. It felt relaxing and fun to eat there. They don’t have a very large menu but I enjoy a minimalist approach. The food was incredible. We got country fried steak with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. First off, I’m picky when it comes to Mac and cheese and most places don’t have a good recipe. This was the best Mac and cheese I’ve ever had from a restaurant. The mashed potatoes were delicious too and the country fried steak with gravy was incredible. I’m so glad we stopped here. If we ever pass through we will definitely stop again.

Loved this place! Great atmosphere. Amazing food! Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and corn! Warm fudge pie for dessert! My husband had blueberry cobbler and ice cream. Yummy!!! Service was great, too.

Stopped here with my family on our way from Chattanooga to Nashville and couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised. The menu our waitress shared with us has a lot more than what’s listed on the board. Best part, their salad ingredients are locally grown and sourced! Everything was delicious and service was attentive and welcoming. We’ll be back!

An excellent stop for hearty comfort foods in a welcoming country house setting. From my understanding, the menu is constantly rotating. I ordered the meat loaf with loaded mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, turnip greens, and corn bread. There’s not a single portion of the meal that I didn’t feel satisfied with.
