Absolutely my all-time favourite restaurant. Every dish and mocktail is on a whole other level of taste and uniqueness. Just a few of my many favourites at Spicy Moon include the Dan Dan noodles, avocado spring rolls, cumin fries, addictive brussels sprouts, sesame balls…I could go on and on. Also the best vibe ever with a great music playlist, professional pleasant service, and beautiful compassionate artwork about our friends the animals. An INCREDIBLE place.

When I’m near Washington square park, i have a habit of visiting spicy moon. I always sit at the bar, and the and the bartender always provides great service. I’ve only had the dry pot and whenever the dish comes out people ask what I’ve ordered because the presentation is so nice!

Been here twice! This time, tried the dry pot- I loved the way it was cooked, but it was spicy for me. Ordered the mushroom bun and it’s my favorite!! The crisp mushroom with the soft bao bun is such a dream! And of course- wonton in chili oil- yummy as usual( definitely less spicy than the dry pot). The sour cream and spring onion dumpling was a disappointment.

Update: the Kung Pao Style dish is officially my favorite dish. It’s so so deliciously crunchy and comforting. A new staple in my order!

Can not recommend any higher! Flavors and texture of all the dishes was incredible. My meat-eating friend said he would convert just for this. Dan Dan noodles were a showstopper, we ate it all within minutes. Also loved the wontons in chili oil. Mapo tofu was painfully spicy but still worth it.
