Stopped by for a bite. The sammich was amazing! I mean, it is always good, but today was “slap-your-mamma-good”! Today, it was so good that 8t should have been been in the capsule sent into space to share our culture and ways with other life forms! Yes, it was that good! The pic of the sammich with the fork is to give a point of reference. Big and tasty! Nom, nom, nom!

I don’t know if these other reviews are bots or not , but they don’t know what they’re talking about and they wouldn’t know what good food was if it punched them in the mouth . This place is absolutely fantastic , I’ve been here half a dozen times in the past 2 weeks , ordered a different cheesteak everytime I went and each one was phenomenal , almost to the point where it’s hard to decide which one to eat because they’re all just so good . 10/10 , would recommend and will continue to come back .

I really wanted to love this place after searching for a great cheesesteak in the area, but unfortunately I can say I will never eat here again. Lettuce was old, wilted, and nasty tasting, but worse than that I found a small bone in one of my bites… Hard to keep eating after that. Overall sub was fine, but for the two mentioned reasons I can’t eat here again or recommend it to anyone else.

I came to The Original when it first opened, and I was absolutely blown away. It was the best cheesesteak I’ve had in Ohio, bar none. Tonight, I picked up a couple steaks for dinner, and I’m shocked how far downhill this place has gone. The pretzels were obviously pre-made and deep fried(!?), so the outside was disgustingly greasy and the inside was super tough and chewy. The tots were oddly doughy and grease-soaked. The lettuce on the cheesesteak was limp and browning, like it was a week old. And if all that wasn’t enough, there was a bone fragment in one of the sandwiches! Service was friendly, but I can’t say I feel the need to ever come back. Such a shame.

New Future Now
Absolutely delicious I personally tried the loaded tots and the chicken bacon ranch add sautéed mushrooms. I got so lucky they show up in the food truck at our Amazon on Romig road!! Love every bite!! Oh and btw this tastes “from scratch” fresh- can taste the seared meat and I can’t get enough. Definitely going to be getting them from now on when they show up.

We ate here for the first time this evening, ordering the original cheesesteak, a spicy italian (hot), loaded fries and fried pickles. It was AMAZING. Words cannot express how delicious the food was. Fresh, hot, melty awesome flavor in every bite. The gentleman who took our order and prepared the food was very welcoming, friendly and it looked like he really enjoyed what he was doing. He sure can cook up some deliciousness! In an area with so many restaurants to choose from, this one is well worth the visit. We will most definitely make the 25 minute drive from home to go back.

No, no and no! One lone young guy working… Food was awful! Fries were raw and completely greasy. The parmesan chicken had no chicken, just red sauce, breading and burnt cheese. The chicken teriyaki was acceptable but not a reason to stop in. The sandwiches were oddly steaming as if they were piping hot and fresh but they were luke warm at best. Must mean they were not thoroughly cooked through, just reheated. I am hoping I don’t get sick for the slight amount of food I consumed. We threw all of the fries away and 90% of my sandwich. Waste of money!!!

Food was phenomenal! And the guys behind the counter had the best attitudes. The owner himself waited on us! He is great! Genuinely love his take on a cheese steak and you can taste the quality of his hard work! Definately recommend!
