We recently tried Le Gong again for lunch. Super surprised by the value of their lunch menu. $7.15 for most if not all of the options. Food was very good as well. We will continue to consider this a great option.

Today I ordered General Tso chicken, and egg foo young, it was ridiculously amazing. The general Tso chicken was on point, it was nice and crispy, it’s very flavorful. I would come again to buy that. For the egg foo young, it was amazing. The gravy and everything was so good. It tastes amazing. I’m inlove with this new ownership change. Their prices are very worthy to afford, their service is amazing. They are so polite and welcoming. Their food is my comfort zone. I would come again!!

very sad day. have take out from le gong usually a time or two every month…now it seems like new owners. the inside has completely changed…reminds me of panda express. more of a fast food vibe. the worst part though is the food. the crab rangoon aren’t even folded like little goodie bags anymore. loved the extra crispy ends the wonton. next, the beef egg foo young…absolutely terrible. the pieces of onion were bigger and much more prevalent than the beef. thats only the onion…not the other vegetables inside. it tasted like a frozen vegetable omelet. then i thought, that gravy is sooo good it wont matter. i doused that gravy all over. right away i noticed something wrong. it was light in color and almost watery. took a bite and it was closer to watered down peanut butter than that delicious gravy ive come to know and love from every chinese restaurant ive ever eaten at. the best part of chinese take out…the leftovers!! however, this was so bad we didn’t even finish a dinner worth, let alone save it for leftovers. sad day when you choose spaghettios over chinese. going to try golden gate next time.

What a disappointment! I traveled 35 minutes to go to this restaurant over several years and had no idea it had changed ownership and quite evidently recipes as well. Hard to image you can screw up egg foo young; General Tso chicken was inedible. I’ve never posted a compliant on any web site but think this was necessary.

Food completely changed with the coming of the new owners. Everything went from amazing to terrible. Sadly, we won’t be coming back ever again.

Food is always delicious and very affordable. You get a lot of food! The lemon chicken is my favorite weekly treat. Always made hot and fresh! I will come here again and again

First time, excellent food. Worth the wait. Not greasy, and flavorful. Egg Foo Young sauce was not salty and sweet and sour sauce was not too sweet. Crab Rangoon was delicious. Definitely will order again.

This is so sad! Clearly new owners and it’s so bad. Flavorless…lots of the good stuff is gone or irreparably changed. No more BBQ pork pan fried noodles. The egg drop soup is gross. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat and I’ll never go back.

We ordered about a short bit before close on a week night and when we got our food home it was cold, dried out, crusty and nasty! When I called the next day, I was yelled at and told I should have called them right away. I stated it would have been after they closed and she said “we were here. We are always here” i told her I had all the food in the fridge to show her and she told me “No! You didn’t call yesterday you get nothing”. What once was one of our most frequented places will never be used again. Terrible!
