Our family loved our meal here. Great, creative selection of rolls but not over the top. Super fresh sashimi. Refreshing mint/lime drinks. Fantastic service with all somehow with a traditional Japanese vibe.

Service and atmosphere was great! Food was not my favorite. Everything tasted super very fishy which I don’t love. Presentation of the food was pretty

Great atmosphere, small but cozy! We’ve been for dinner a few times and the service is amazing, everyone is so nice and pleasant. Oh and the sushi! To die for! And wash it down with Asahi beer

I REALLY wanted to love this place! It would have been so cluch to have a quality Japanese restaurant in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, our experience left much to be desidered. The sushi was the epitome of “meh”, average at best. Edible, but nothing to write home about. Service was also very mediocre and robotic. I was excited that they had chutoro, but the consistency and temperature were both off. Lastly, my biggest beef is with the bill. Looking back at their old menu from 6-12 months ago, prices have done up considerably; in some cases 25%+. Then, on top of that, they add a 10% “inflation surcharge” to your final bill. I realize inflation has hit the food industry hard, but don’t raise your prices and then double-down with a 10% surcharge.

A fantastic place to grab some Japanese cuisine for lunch or dinner. You can’t go wrong with an teishoku entree, you will get a good amount of food for it. The service was great and food came out fairly quickly. I recommend this place for a quick bite or a sit-in with a few friends. The average price of eating here with a drink can easily go for $25 or more per person.

Great food and service. We both got the Nagoya bento plate. One with the teriyaki ribeye and furikake salmon, the other broiled saba with tempura shrimp and vegetables. Looked so good forgot to take pictures. But, able capture one our dessert, tempura ice cream, yum!
