2nd time we’ve gotten take out from here. Their Chicken Tikka Masala is delicious and their garlic naan is some of the best we’ve had. We thought the Chicken kebab was good but could have used more salt.

5 stars for sure! This is a local no-frills place with excellent service and hospitality. I think it is a family owned business and the guy that greeted us and patiently explained their dishes made us feel very welcomed. Prices are very reasonable. Palak paneer was delicious and the garlic naan stood out as well. If you’re a fan of bitter melon, try it here! Just note that there is pre-made food in the front and you can order hot food from the kitchen too. A lot of food is microwaved or reheated but everything is delicious nonetheless and affordable.

I would like to write this so that no other customer gets food poisoned like I did. I purchased butter chicken, goat curry and goat biryani from this spot earlier this week for lunch. I noticed the food was all sitting out and not heated. It all looked as if it was the previous days food. When I brought the food home and started eating it tasted funky and old, but the spices covered it up and within hours after eating this food my belly started to bloat and started to belch. I ended up with severe diarrhea / vomiting for almost 1 week and was unable to leave the house or go to work. I was in and out of the bathroom every 2 hours having severe liquid diarrhea. I could not drink any fluids or eat any food without having constant diarrhea. I ended up on antibiotics which also did not help, and doctors finally told me to follow a specific diet and take Imodium. I filed a complaint with the city and the health department.

Please be wary of this food place. I was severely food posioned from this place. They serve old food that was sitting out all day the previous day and then mix it with the next day food. The food tasted nasty and made me sick for over a week. I was throwing up and having loose, watery stools (bowel movements) non stop daily for over a week every hour. I will never shop or buy anything from this location again. If you are immune compromised or elderly and don;t want to end up in the hospital do not buy at this disgusting location!

I would not recommend this place. The food is left out and pre-made, not fresh. The options are limited, not the same as the menu. I ended up getting a palak paneer that is extremely salty. The rice with it seemed really old too, it was dry and didn’t smell fresh. They just warm up the left out food in the microwave.

The service here was very friendly. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. I highly recommend the chicken kebab and tandoori chicken. We also ordered the channa and dal Makhani which were pretty good but needed a touch of salt. The curry chicken was ok and could have been more flavorful. Definitely want to try the chicken biryani next time. They also have many vegetable options to choose from like aloo gobi, eggplant and more. Will definitely revisit. Happy to have another great addition to Hillside Avenue!

I asked for a tray of Chicken Biryani for my wife’s workplace party. They got it ready in about 30 minutes. You could smell the freshness. When everybody had it at the party they couldn’t believe it. They said it’s the best Chicken Biryani they’ve ever had. Compliments continued for a week
