Location is outdated not very clean, server didn’t look like she wanted to be working. The presentation of the food looked good and didn’t take long for them to make the cheese burger with fries & chicken fingers meal, sad to say the flavor was lacking and it was overpriced

The casier was nice, but we wanted fried pickles and were told they didn’t have any of their appetizers. So we did get 2 of the chicken strip dinners, which weren’t very good. The fries could have been cooked a little longer, the gravy containers were about half full, and the strips were dark. The grease is not being cleaned out accurately, when it should be.

If I could give 0 stars then I would. The place had barely any food to offer. The drink machines were down which means they had no ice and no soda. We had to choose from hot tea or Kool aid. Food wasn’t even that great. This place has gone downhill. I’m beyond disappointed I will never go back and I will tell everyone I know not to go there. The poor girl taking our order didn’t even know what went on half of the things we asked about. They should either close the doors or maybe go to Sam’s to get some food and drinks in there.

Decided to give them another chance! Called in my order! I could see it was ready when I got there! This is the order of onion rings I paid over $3 for! And the burger was terrible! And my food was cold as the counter person filled several ice cups for people!

Red Cap is a Santa Fe legend. It may be outdated, but the food is good and the staff is always friendly. If you have anything negative to say about the place, you must be a very unhappy person. The teenagers they employ, work their butts off and have great manners.

Places like this are getting harder to find. Was busy when I visited, so service was slower than it was the last time I visited. The person behind the counter was very friendly and was moving fast to get the orders out. Nothing fancy here, but the food is good. Normally I get a burger here, but today I tired the footlong coney and fried green tomatoes.

Only one person working, guy showed up late to work, waited an hour to two hours for our food. No drinks, only tea. The sweet tea wasn’t even sweet. Waste of time and money. “Should have went to McDonald’s”

Today we stopped at red cap and they were out of all sodas they were using pitchers of Koolaid for their drinks. They only had a few flavors of ice cream they didn’t have any condiments for their French fries the customer service wasn’t the best I’m sad to say they have gone way down hill please step it up red cap so we can return and change this rating to a 5
