Visiting Franklin for a day, we found the Purple Goose. The burger and fries were really good, portion size was excellent. Service was really good but you could tell they were scrambling to cover the dining area from the bar. Both the waiter and the cook checked to make sure we were satisfied. Not much atmosphere but if you’re in town and want a good burger with real fries, then give it a chance. I highly recommend the Goose Burger.

Really good bar food and the drinks were good too- had the ‘goose’ fries and lemon pepper wings (dry rub) – very tasty! Good place to stop if you are on a road trip -very friendly servers- just a really casual stop for good food if you are on your way to the trails or just meandering about on a Sunday-

The genttleman who served us was very friendly and got our order exactly correct. The only “issue” was that we were there on a Sunday afternoon and the waiter also had to tend bar. (The dining area was just my party and one other.) He kept up well, though, as did the cook, and our wait was not horrible. The food was good, a good amount, and priced well.

A nice laid back local place, love that they have a restaurant side and a bar side. You can still order drinks in the restaurant without the bar atmosphere. The pizza here is fantastic from the cheese to the crust. If you are searching for a “margarita” type pizza their white pizza is pretty close and I keep coming back for it!

Don’t put your money on the bar!!! The bartender puts money in the register for beer and throws the rest of my money in his tip bucket. Have always brought bar runs through here. Won’t ever come back again….Nor bring our party bus back here!

Went here for my fiancé’s brothers band and was pleasantly surprised. The food at the bar was delicious and filling, and both bartenders were on top of things making sure that every one was accommodated accordingly. Good setup for the music and a decent crowd as well.
