I’ve high standards about Indian food but I’m happy to say that this place has really amazing tasting food. Ordered a bunch of appetizers: samosa chaat, pakoras, aloo tikkis. All were delicious, especially the samosa chaat! The masala tea was awesome! Also tried the chicken korma, saag paneer: they tasted great with rich, thick gravy. The naans were fresh and light. Definitely recommend it, one of the best Indian food places in the Bay area. I hope they maintain the standard in the future as well!

I was so excited to try this place but I was so sad to be disappointed. Maybe it was a bad day, but I was very surprised at the quality of the food. I got the samosa chaat, daal tadka, chicken tikka marsala, and naan. The samosa chaat was solid, which is why I am giving two stars. Good flavor and large portion. The daal tadka was undercooked, and tasted like the lentils has not been washed properly. The chicken tikka marsala was truly terrible– I have attached a picture. It is yellow (instead of orange / red) because it truly has no flavor apart from cream (i ordered it spicy). Its richer than Jeff Bezos and about as tasteless as him as well. The naan was too dense and dry, although the flavor was ok. Overall, two stars for being edible and the samosa chaat.

I really wanted to like this place since I don’t have a go to Indian place in Oakland but I didn’t. I agree with reviewer who thought chicken tikka masala was not good. It shouldn’t be yellow and was bland. Naan was fine. Plus, they charged me $18 when the price on menu was $16. I asked them about it and the guy responded nonchalantly and just said inflation. I told him to update the paper menus.

Aloo gobi was really good, but very expensive. For this price, I expected a much larger portion. Samosa was extremely salty, though. Never in my life have I had samosa and wished that someone poured a ton of salt on it, but thats what they do here.

Dined in. Delicious food, great for American palate. Portion sizes in person were plenty, especially with the tikka masala and korma being creamy and filling. Large naan, enough to share for two people. Service was all nice. There’s actually a sizeable shared parking lot!

My favorite place for Indian food takeout in the east bay. I love the dal makhani, tadka dal, and saag.

Amazing Indian food. Incredibly flavorful and delicious. The chicken was very tender. They are just getting started and only 4 months old. Highly recommend this place. Don’t be fooled by its location. The service was also really great.
