First time here! Great service. The food was hot and fresh. The only downfalls were the Crab Rangoon’s. They were a bit on the thick and doughy side. Not a fan of how they folded these ones. The only other thing is the receipt states 5 pieces with the sesame balls, but you only get 3 per order! The spicy chicken could be spicier. You get plenty of food with your order. Everything was really good. It is good enough to look forward to coming back when we are through Salem. They will always be a plus in my book since my favorite item is the sesame balls. These ones seem to be made differently than the rest of the ones we have had. They were not overly greasy or doughy! For us they were perfect little balls of goodness! 🙂

Great food, clean, friendly service! The restaurant is family owned, and you can tell they take great pride in it. One of the owners is a vet. They make their own sauces, marinades, and dressings. We ordered an extra dish to go. We ate there during an Ironman race weekend. Good stuff!

Used to come to J’s all the time with my co-workers a few years ago. Tonight I decided to order food for my family and was in the area so I ordered the Salem roll we always got with my co-workers. I was VERY disappointed. First my order took 40 mins to get done… I little understandable since it was a Friday night but after I received my food and saw the size of the Salem roll I was shocked I paid $12.95 each roll.

Food was top tier, well above most sit down restaurants of higher price. Service was great and the restaurant was clean and aesthetically pleasing. Best ribs I’ve had from an Asian restaurant and you must try the salad dressing. One of the best experiences I had visiting Oregon. 10/10 would recommend.

Went to lunch with my business partner, food was delicious. They definitely take their time to go above and beyond. All there food was fresh and everything house made. Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if they start brewing their own soy sauce for the sushi. Also the “super” spicy chicken is an understatement and like I told the owner my wife loved it. Definitely going back and recommend.

Update, make sure you double check the order and do not order through doordash ever because they will screw you. The lady that you place an order with is high most of the time so I would definitely have her repeat the order to you. The food is still amazing to the service that lacks. Ate here with my two sons we had a great time talking to the purveyor and we topped off the evening with very enjoyable food. Veteran-owned quality food it’s a little out-of-the-way from the main road but I highly recommend you seek this place out it is great! RESPONSE: My review is my experience, too bad. First, my review of your restaurant directed who I see is responsible for what. My interaction with your cashier had nothing to do with the previous days order thru doordash, I had only brought it to her attention I NEVER ASKED OR EXPECTED ANY REFUND, she lied to you. Second, her laxidasical attitude and general air headedness is why I said that she seemed on drugs. This was the second time she’d messed up my order, to which she fixed but meanwhile the rest of my food was cold for your LACK OF FOOD WARMERS. I ordered the Spicy chicken plate, it was AMAZING! Not super spicy. Large portion! The egg rolls were delicious! I think it beats Love Love Teriyaki out of the water. I have already ordered from J’s again because it’s so good and I highly recommend it!

You may say the notebook had a happy ending or Toy Story but nothing was as ecstatic as being here. New place to try and or coming back for more they don’t let you down on taste nor smiles. I got to try their homemade HOT sauce amongst many of their homemade recipes.
