I am disappointed. I have had Hip Hop before in Clinton and Marlow Heights when I worked in the area. Today I thought about it and really wanted that special vinegary and peppery smell and taste. So I found this Hip Hop closer to home. It looks newly opened. Ok. The quantity and quality of food was ok. The chicken was juicy but the sizes were smaller (I get that – inflation) But there was a total lack of that special Hip Hop vinegary and peppery taste that I was craving for. It tasted just like any chicken. I don’t think they marinated the chicken. Even the crust was not crunchy and flavorful. The Hip Hop fries were the most addictive. But these fries tasted nothing. I may need to drive all the way to Clinton to see if the flavors have changed.

If I could give no stars I would!!!!! So disappointing!!! I asked them not to fry hard and this will be the 3rd time they over fried the chicken than when I told slim at counter my chicken was over cooked.. he gonna tell me ..no its not…it just came out of grease bought a 30 piece and my party did not eat as u can see in picture!!!!! THEY NEED NEW COOKS AND A NEW PERSON AT REGISTER….PERIODT!!!!!!!!!
